RE: In this cold water - Lamia - Mar 05 2019 So many ways to create water! Or, at least, use magic to manipulate it. She wasn't sure how it worked. Did the magic create the water or just move it around? Freezing water, though, that sounded like fun. It would be cool to create a sheet of ice similar to what Tenzin had been living within. RE: In this cold water - Game Master CJ - Mar 11 2019 Tenzin nodded to her question and gestured with a wing to the nearest tunnel beside them, Tunnel O. "Oh yes, there are many. Down this way is the Core, also known as Polaris. In there is the river I warned you about—which is a long flow of rushing water. It feeds into the waterfall," he said, glancing up at the falling water fondly. "It is dangerous to fall that far, though, so I would strongly advise you not to ride its waterway all the way to the waterfall." He gestured then toward the second-nearest tunnel, Tunnel H. "Down that way are a few other caves, and at the end there," he paused to motion toward the far edge of Pisces to Tunnel M, "is a long but cold tunnel. Through that you can reach a room above us that is a large expanse of water, though it is warm water."
@Lamia RE: In this cold water - Lamia - Mar 11 2019 Lamia looked all the ways that Tenzin was gesturing towards, constantly swimming in a circle to face the direction. There were many ways to go, many places to explore. Many different types of water, it seemed, rushing, flowing water and large expanses of warmer waters. At the moment, though, she knew that she much preferred the nice chilly water of Pisces. She probably wouldn't be going through any water tunnels soon. RE: In this cold water - Game Master CJ - Mar 11 2019 Tenzin looked down at her and nodded gently. "Oh yes, there are others that you may not be able to visit at first, but as you become efficient at breathing the water in the air you will be able to travel greater distances." He pointed with the tip of his wing, curled in toward himself, to both himself and Lamia. "You can create ice pockets around your gills," he decided to suggest, not wanting her to feel completely strung to the water as if it were her fate. "Perhaps trapping water there, and freezing ice around it—and when you run out, you may summon water, but all these things you will learn. With time," he said with a smile.
@Lamia RE: In this cold water - Lamia - Mar 11 2019 Lamia listened imagined herself with a casing of ice over her gills. Like the ice that caged in Tenzin before. She felt like it would hurt, though, it would be too cold against her scales. The ice she had felt had been very very cold but to have it around her gills? That seemed a little scary. Perhaps in the future she would warm up to the idea, but with that level of magic out of her control, she could barely even comprehend. |
