RE: Once More - Krakarak - Jun 20 2015 Krakarak watched as she hopped away then he limped along behind her. Guess it was time to see how good she really was at this hunting insects thing. First she quenched her thirst at a little stream and Krakarak actually remembered his own thirst. When she stepped away to go searching he lowered his own larger beak and took a few quick drinks. The water made him feel much better than he had in a while and after he finished he shook her head then turned back to the crow. Eve was poking around a rock which was certainly a good start. She upturned the stone then managed to just grab a worm. After she hooked it the young crow strutted back over to him. "Good!" He praised. Seemed as if she could keep herself fed in a pinch. "You caught one but can you catch two? Krak!" He asked. Anyone could do one but two in a row would really show skills. The raven eyed the worm greedily but waved a wing towards the area. "Catch 'nother bug. One for you an' one for Krakarak." The raven nodded his head, the idea of a free meal was still a prominent one. Also, if she hunted more perhaps she would get better and better at the skill so it was good for the both of them. ____ words: 226 tagged: Eve ooc: --- muse: 5/10 "Talking" Thinking RE: Once More - Eve - Jun 20 2015 ________________
RE: Once More - Krakarak - Jun 20 2015 Oh boy! He hadn't even had to snatch it or demand she hand up the worm. The crow simply gave it to him. Krakarak wasted no time in grabbing the worm then gobbling it right up. It hit the spot! The rumbling in his gut eased a bit as he watched the young crow go search for another insect. He began to preen his dark feathers with their purple sheen as he waited. Certain, that their lesson would end well today and they could go back to Canis. He'd love to introduce her to Aza'zel and get her initiated into the Bonebound. More members was always a good thing. After a while of pecking and scratching the crow told him their was nothing there. Then she glared at him which caused Krak to give a caw of annoyance at her. Glaring wasn't very nice for a student to do. "'Course there are! Krak! This place fulla bugs! Not looking hard enough! Krak Krak!" The raven limped over to her and peered down at the ground. He was certain there was something here. He scratched around, digging with his talons and pecking with his beak but he could find nothing. Soon enough the raven grew annoyed with searching for the elusive bugs. "Kra! They here. Just hiding!" He stepped away from the area and peered around. "We look elsewhere, come on!" Growing tired of limping around he opened his wings and flew into the air a few inches to hover. Awaiting the tiny crow to follow him him forward to another area to look for bugs. ____ words: 265 tagged: Eve ooc: --- muse: 5/10 "Talking" Thinking RE: Once More - Eve - Jun 20 2015 ________________
She squawked a little louder, head craned up to peer at the larger bird. Some part of her was jealous of the raven's ability to fly, but another part of her didn't want it at all. She was afraid of falling from another stupidly large height, after all. RE: Once More - Krakarak - Jun 20 2015 The crow hobbled along dutifully below him, keeping pace as good as she could. The raven wasn't even flying quickly, just barely going along because he knew walking was slower than flying. However, this was ridiculous! He was moving as slow as a snail and the bird couldn't even keep up! At this rate they would never make it to Canis in a timely fashion. Krakarak looked down at the bird with some bit of annoyance at her slow pace. "We go to Canis. Bones there, some insects too. Krak!" Just barely moving along... Finally he couldn't take it anymore and he lowered himself to where he was flying just above the crow. His beady eyes looked down into hers. "You slow when you no fly. Will take far too long to get to Canis. Krakaw!" With that he reached downwards with his large talons and carefully wrapped them around the small bird. He was careful with his injured foot and supported most of her weight with his good one as he pumped his wings harder, lifting her into the air and off of the ground. It was hard adjusting his weight to compensate for hers as well but he did it. "We go faster now!" With that he zoomed forwards, straight towards the exit and Canis with one last "KRAKAAAAWWW!" to announce that Krakarak had now left. ____ words: 228 tagged: Eve ooc: exit with Eve muse: 5/10 "Talking" Thinking RE: Once More - Eve - Jun 20 2015 ________________
She was interrupted by Krakarak's talon grabbing her. She doesn't weigh anywhere near what one might thing - she is horribly scrawny and covered in a thick, thick fluff. She began screeching and squawking frantically. The tiny crow could be hear screaming all the way to Canis. ((exit eve)) |
