RE: Quest: The Fiery Pit - Damian - Jul 14 2015

It wasn't long before others were coming along and claiming the stones that lingered. With his own claimed teardrop gem clasped tightly in his paw the young pup slipped away from them, finding his way along the beast until he disappeared off into the shadows. From here he would search for a way out of the pit, eager and desperate to escape the area before something did manage to wake up these creatures that lingered around. He cared not what the others were doing or if they would escape without the beasts waking. He had got what he had come here for and now it was time to leave.

RE: Quest: The Fiery Pit - Usui - Jul 14 2015

Usui made his way out of the pit successfully and saw the dragon and lamb stir a little but nothing happened. He carefully kept the stone in his teeth, and with one look at the remaining gembounds gathered, left silently, having gotten what he believed might be a further clue into Origin.

-Exit Usui-

RE: Quest: The Fiery Pit - Rafael - Jul 14 2015

Several of the creatures entered into the pit. The weird dog he’d seen from before, a deer and a lion – and they all emerged carrying a stone of sorts. The peryton snorted and flicked his ears, interested in their loots but looking at the dragon and lamb now, he saw that none of the stones were left. A look of jealousy crossed his face for a moment, but disappeared the next. The stones were useless to him and burdensome to carry around. He’d much rather have meat any other day. With a snort at the useless gembounds, Rafael turned and swayed his withers to perfect rhythm of his haunches as he click-clacked away from the pit elegantly. This place bored him. No one to torture, it wasn’t fun at all. He had more missions to embark on than stick around longer.

-Exit Rafael-

RE: Quest: The Fiery Pit - Dark - Jul 15 2015

________________

Nothing had prompted the owl to arrive, and nothing prompted him to leave. He could not see the others taking gems--couldn't see that there had been any to take--and instead sat quietly fluffed up, still peering down blindly into the pit, listening.

He could hear footfalls coming and going--the scratch of talons on stone, the padding of paws or the clicking of hooves. This meant nothing to him--instead, he wondered if it were some sort of gathering? He could sense the animosity of the dragon, but that was all. He stayed, the blind bird, not able to see the visual cues of departing Gembound, still wondering if someone would do something, speak up, explain.

Dark would likely live in Monoceros for the days to come, testing out his wings and listening to the breathing of the things below beneath the distant roar of the wind through the rock.

RE: Quest: The Fiery Pit - Tamelyn - Jul 18 2015

Tamelyn Thunderhoof
And I will fear no darkness

With a soft, bright noise, the gem popped free, and Tamelyn took a few steps backwards, still holding it in her mouth. She set it out the ground and studied it, entranced. Part of her felt bad for taking it, but the rest of her was simply too curious as to it's purpose and origin. She resolved to take excellent care of it at least, until she could figure out the story behind it. The others had claimed stones as well and were leaving, so she would do the safe. Tamelyn carefully picked up the stone again, then turned back to the slopes. A few bounds with her powerful legs were all that was needed to clear the pit, though the movement made her ribs complain. She walked more carefully after that, making her way back to Eriandus.

-Exit Tamelyn-
