@Effluvium @Game Master Dark RE: The Monster Mash - Game Master Dark - Jun 26 2020 It saw its chance.
Fangs slipped from flesh. Great muscled hide, grey-green scales glinting roughly, flopped and surged. The Redfang made its bid for freedom. Unless stopped (requiring a roll of 17+) the fish would gradually flop its way back to the water, and to freedom... @Effluvium RE: The Monster Mash - Effluvium - Jun 27 2020 Effluvium's chain of distraction was stopped by the fish flopping. It stared for a moment, flesh hanging from its mouth, trying to process what living beings did besides be eaten. Especially this one in particular. It oozed quietly. Then it realized with a start that it was flopping towards the water. If it went into the water, Effluvium couldn't eat it. Effluvium screamed at it again, and charged. It didn't get very far. Effluvium slipped on the mud, and gave a desperate snap at the air. It watched, helplessly, scrambling to regain its purchase, as the fish floundered towards the water. Carja quickly forgotten in pursuit of the fish. "When I speak." When I think. @Game Master Dark @Carja RE: The Monster Mash - Carja - Jun 30 2020
@Effluvium @Game Master Dark RE: The Monster Mash - Effluvium - Jul 02 2020 Effluvium gave a low growl at the shoulder touch. Whatever Carja had been doing caught its' attention. It tilted its head. Ears(?) piqued for whatever Carja had been doing. Curiosity won out over the moping toddler. It gradually stood, and sat on its uhhh. Spine? And there was a fish. Carja had brought Effluvium fish! "Eat!" It agreed, and the fish was gone with a pair of snaps. It wasn't a second redfand, but it'd do. Effluvium wiped its snout with a meaty forelimb. Effluvium wasn't one for thanks, or prolonged conversation. A scent caught its attention. It stood, nose to the ground like a bloodhound, and tracked whatever unfortunate lesser had caught its attention. With a strange 'huugh' noise, it bounded into a thicket of trees. After something that had died, or wouldn't live much longer. @Carja ;exit nugget RE: The Monster Mash - Carja - Jul 03 2020
