RE: Keep Watch [open] - Cain - Aug 23 2020 There was a good chance that the Overseer would spatter the pig's guts across the floor like paint, and suddenly, Garnet-Delta decided that maybe Bloodstone didn't need to see this. Lips lowered back over curved teeth as the tank smashed into the scene, scoffing. It turned its head back to Bloodstone, and pushed its cheek into the Hydra's shoulder. "Go back to the Warrens," it instructed softly, tail swishing. "The Overseer has this handled." Ruby colored eyes flicked to meet each of the three pairs, wings folding calmly at its side now that Alpha stood like a towering giant among them. The situation was going to be handled. @Sora short post bc i have other stuff to do but i dont wanna make people wait aaa RE: Keep Watch [open] - Sora - Aug 23 2020 Sora was angry and scared and perilously close to doing something stupid -- but what she was not was an idiot, and being slammed into the floor by a six-legged monster and nearly suffocating under its weight was enough to make her want to ditch. She was trying to shimmy out of the grip to no avail, and scrambled to her feet when the creature let her up. She paused for a heartbeat, and looked to Orthoclase-Alpha. I wonder what she'd think of them. And then, Sora was skittering away into the darkness of Canis. She couldn't fight three -- maybe four -- creatures. /exit sora unless physically stopped @bloodstone RE: Keep Watch [open] - Blackwing - Aug 23 2020
Exit Bloodstone unless stopped. RE: Keep Watch [open] - Orthoclase-Alpha - Aug 24 2020 It waited, growling - barely restraining itself from going that extra step, just leaning a slight bit more - until all the fight was gone from the pig; until the twitch of her hide and limbs was to get away. Alpha spared her one last ear-shattering roar, before lifting its paw and giving her a not-at-all-gentle push. A few claws curled with the intent to hook, but she was long-gone. Good. Toxic eyes almost immediately rounded on the garnet still on the ground, skimming right over Bloodstone's retreating form. Alpha hissed lowly, A heady pause followed, and it spat: @Garnet-Delta RE: Keep Watch [open] - Cain - Sep 19 2020 Overseer Orthoclase-Alpha. It was good to see it-- even as it lashed out with magic, putting Delta into its place. The feline's tail barely twitched, retracting its claws as it watched the boar retreat. It couldn't seek it out with its magical sense, as it had wanted to, but it did its best to not take it Personally. Garnet-Delta blinked slowly, hard-resetting its thoughts as its Overseer asked it a question. "Spying and talking to Bloodstone, making baseless accusations and threats against us," it reported simply; as much as it knew, squinting into the distance with the uncomfortable sensation of its stone prickling in its throat. It didn't particularly feel like being bossed around further, so instead it put forth its own... suggestion. "Putting thoughts in the initiate's head. I'll clear the matter." If, it was excused. It did not move from its spot, raising its chin to finally look at the Orthoclase once more, as if pointedly asking for permission. @Orthoclase-Alpha RE: Keep Watch [open] - Orthoclase-Alpha - Sep 20 2020 It grimaced, simmering heat behind its gazeāit wasn't directed at the garnet, for once. No, it was this annoyance. But, he would be furious to have an asset turn against them; particularly one that'd not been tested and used in lieu of the other dragons in the Caves. The Overseer nodded and grunted the affirmative. exit! @Garnet-Delta RE: Keep Watch [open] - Cain - Sep 22 2020 There was no argument put forward by its Overseer, so it must have chosen a correct path. Its tail twitched, and it resisted the urge to snort, instead smoothly turning away and spreading its wings. "Thanks," it said, though the word was clipped, a little too curt. Wings spread out with a ruffle, catching on the gentle breeze, and it took a few steps before leaping into the air and taking off after Bloodstone. It had some patching up to do. Normally, it wouldn't bother with babysitting... but, it had a reason to do so, and a place to start. It had information that made this task less direct comforting and more like filling in potholes in what was a smooth road. It looked forward to solving things, ignorant of how callous its thoughts actually were to the hydra. exit! |
