RE: [FF] Sweets and Trinkets ~ Selling things! - Talys - Oct 31 2020 Talys grabbed the lobes of one of the peaches, gripping it with his thumbs in its weakest point and pressing in, twisting and pulling at the same time to pull it in half. The soft fruit sort of buckled and tore unevenly, but he pulled out the pit and stuck it in his mouth before squeezing the peaches over the pot. He did it a few times, including nails and such as well, before he had a weird pulp in his hands. He spit the pit out between his feet, and then glanced at James before eating the peach flesh in his hands. He did the same for the next couple (though he'd stop eating them if he was told to) and started to lick his hands clean when he was done to get rid of the stickiness. "I like these fruits." @james RE: [FF] Sweets and Trinkets ~ Selling things! - James - Oct 31 2020

RE: [FF] Sweets and Trinkets ~ Selling things! - Talys - Nov 01 2020 Talys leaned into James's touch, eyes closing for a moment. The terror of Draconua returned to him, but so did James -- steady and solid, ready to protect him. Talys was grateful; there was no telling what might have happened to him if James hadn't stepped in to make sure he was okay. Talys very well might have been swallowed up by the earth...! Well, that was a little unlikely. But at the very least, the general crew would have left him behind. He reached down to rub at his ankle as a pulse of pain ricocheted up through it, and he stretched out his knees to relieve the aching tension. Distantly, he blamed it on the chill blowing in from Ursa. @james RE: [FF] Sweets and Trinkets ~ Selling things! - James - Nov 01 2020
RE: [FF] Sweets and Trinkets ~ Selling things! - Talys - Nov 01 2020 Talys shifted into a squat to stir it with the stick, at first too slowly but then falling into more of a rhythm. When he pulled it back out for James to pour, he peered over at the goo and watched it be poured over the rock and then spread flat. Then, he looked back at the fire, rubbing his hands together. He thought about his own magic, hot and burning. Harmful to him. He folded his arms around his waist and looked over at the goo as it was spread out across the rock. "How long's it take to cool down?" @james RE: [FF] Sweets and Trinkets ~ Selling things! - James - Nov 01 2020
RE: [FF] Sweets and Trinkets ~ Selling things! - Talys - Nov 01 2020 Talys grabbed another one greedily and took a bite, chewing on the sticky treat with bright eyes. "Thank you, James!" Now he was thinking about what he could do for James -- he wanted to make him something in exchange, or maybe show him how. He was pleased at how warm it was, and eagerly chewed on his treat. "You're the best!" He got to his feet and stretched, licking his hands again and putting them on the side of James's face. He gently bonked his forehead to James's, assuming the horse didn't pull away, and then waddled over to pick up his pumpkin. He still wanted to go around and see other things, after all -- he didn't want to hang out at James's booth all day, even if he did really like the horse. "I'm gonna go now, but I'll stop by again before I leave!" /exit talys, unless stopped |
