He shifted to rest his head on James's flank, hoping for a moment this wouldn't lead to him Sporing himself (although he did sort of wonder what would happen if he did). He stretched a little and shook his head back and forth slightly, conscious of his antlers and avoiding hitting James.

Spores were shaken off onto James's fur, imperceptible without the use of Gray Sense. They would take root in his skin after a while, but would be painless and otherwise unnoticeable unless he decided to remove them. "There," Tahi said gently, laying his head down again. "I'll probably get the house a little later."

James nodded gently and spread a wing, draping it onto the other. He sighed softly and snuggled into the other, as happy as could be.

"Nap time?", he asked softly, stifling a yawn.

His tail flicked and he idly ate the grass around them, munching quietly as the birds sang around them and a herd of meadow deer mooed in the distance. It was nice. He could also admit that the Chaos Forge provided protection from Draco, should anything come into Ursa seeking to destroy it (again), and Azigh as its guardian. There was no safer place than here.

Tahi actually did yawn, and nodded slightly. He was massively tired after casting Give Life twice in a row, and nosed lightly at his shoulder before letting himself drift off -- he'd probably only sleep for a couple of hours, but it was in all honesty probably the most relaxed Tahi-shei had been since his first cycle, when he'd spent any time he wasn't eating lying down and thinking. Fawns didn't really do much, and his last thought before he fell asleep was something along the lines of I wonder if the children will be the same way?

James smiled gently and set his head down on the grass, thankful he was lighter, which meant he could sleep longer without cutting off the blood flow to his limbs. Just pegasus perks.

After a while he drifted off, ears down and breaths soft, eyes twitching under his lids. He trusted Darling (who'd been lurking behind them) to keep watch as she chased after mice and ate grass and berries.
