RE: TREMBLE, LITTLE LION MAN - Maw - Jan 21 2021

Despite having never hugged or been hugged before, Madhukar felt like this... was nice. Comforting, to be covered and covering. The feeling that a piece of her life was starting to click back into place overwhelmed the physical feeling of magic loss. Entirely outshined it, a spark in welling darkness. Madhukar smiled, just slightly, to herself.

She stepped away from Tahi and nodded with her effort at a grunt. And then he said to stand back, that she could go... what was he doing?

Curiosity pulled her into separate directions. As did fear, as did love. Madhukar managed to shuffle a "B-... Bye," out of her throat, before turning away. She would see him again, even if it took a few tries. For now... she really, really had to go.

So away she skittered, hot lightning racing through a field. Feeling... strange. Better.

Think "Speak"

"Goodbye!" he called. "Stay safe out there!"

He'd be visiting her later, in her dreams -- so that they could have a lengthier conversation, mostly, but also because he really wanted to try out this spell of his. In the meantime, though, he needed to lay spores around this chrysalis to make sure it went undisturbed.

Satisfied as his magic pushed out and spores (albeit sparse ones) were shed, he did another lap around the chrysalis and straightened up. Alright, time to get back to James -- he couldn't wait to tell him the news, too.
