Imperia watched Aaliyah. So she would let him have it. As long as he didn't give life to it. What could he do with it? He supposed he could hoard it, like she said. Gather more. Terrify others with his collection. He'd need to find somewhere to put them, though he could deal with that when it came. So he nodded to show he accepted the terms, although he wasn't sure she had seen it. She had just turned around and was now walking away. He continued to watch her until she became out of sight.

He turned away to find the stone. While walking, he thought about his decision. Was it really the right decision? He could have ordered to stay, and he knew she would. Or would he? She wasn't the Aaliyah he used to know, not anymore. Who knows what she would have done? Killed him, maybe? Or tried to. He'd put up a fight, that's for sure. He'd never go down easy.

He came across the location of the stone and picked it up before walking the opposite direction Aaliyah had gone, his head also held high. He had made his decision, and Aaliyah was gone. Nothing could be changed about that. Now he could do whatever he wanted to do. He could kill freely without her stopping him. He grinned as he continued walking.
