RE: Searching for a Stone - Llamrei - Sep 02 2018
There was an awful rumbling sound, and Llamrei whickered and balked, side stepping. The snow was clinging to her hooves, and she sunk into it, having to high step. RE: Searching for a Stone - Game Master CJ - Sep 09 2018 Svarog squinted, trying to keep his vision on the fluttering fire-bug. One grubby hand sorely rubbed his gem and the other hung loosely at his knee. He watched idly as the bird's beak began to glow again, and then he prepared: a sharp inhale of the cold air around him, ice rising along his shoulders like fur might rise on an animal's hackles, and...
post-roll edit ...the snow around him condensed and his body encased itself in ice! Inside, his good eye—the right eye, the one the eagle had aimed at—narrowed and he smiled wickedly. The fire melted the protective ice he had called upon but not enough to reach him. It was then a rock had tink'd off of the ice, having been aimed for his left eye. He growled from within his protective casing, cooling his burns and soothing his wounds. Svarog had still momentarily forgotten about the magical stone, still laying a fair distance away from him on the other side of the Gembound. @Llamrei @Glory RE: Searching for a Stone - Glory - Sep 09 2018
Glory quickly turned himself as he flew past the monster and clumsily swung himself so that he was facing it again. His eyes widened with surprise at the shell of ice that had surrounded it. So his last attack didn't do anything did it? Well, then, he'd have to kick it up a notch. RE: Searching for a Stone - Llamrei - Sep 22 2018
The filly stamped her hooves as the ice surrounded the monster, protecting it from both the bird's attack and her stone. But, it seemed the bird had another idea, as he swooped down, and launched a breath of flames at the beast. RE: Searching for a Stone - Game Master Dark - Oct 14 2018 Svarog threw his massive arms up over his head just in time. The blast of flame was mostly dampened by what remained of his ice, which now streamed off him in rivulets, hissing steam up from his thick fur. Stumpy fingers quickly rubbed at his piggish face as he checked himself for burns. His good eye snapped up to follow the fire-bug, anger building.
Llamrei was already beyond him; he was powerful, but slow. All they had to do now was to depart with their prize... if they could ignore the bellow of the frustrated creature behind them, or the pounding of his weight on the rock as he gave lumbering chase. @Llamrei @Glory RE: Searching for a Stone - Glory - Oct 14 2018
He didn't really care that the beast was able to dampen his flames - the important thing was that the horse seemed to be far enough away. Horses were fast, after all. He was sure that he would be able to outfly the creature, but to catch up to the horse? Probably not. He'd just follow where they went and hope they eventually found them. The filly continued to run, her ears twitching backwards. She could hear steam and bellowing, and thundering footsteps. RE: Searching for a Stone - Llamrei - Oct 17 2018
Whipping her head around, Llamrei restored eye contact with the stone. Her gem glowed, and the stone leaped back into the air. She barreled away from the monster, away and away, out of Polaris and then even further. |
