Sleep came easily for the small bird. A long day of adventuring, meeting a king, and finding a nesting site had completely left the chick depleted of all energy reserves. Various images played before their mind; of kingly weasels and knight-like Komodo dragons, of grass and twigs and muddy adventures, of a shimmering oasis of sparkling crystals as far as the eye could see. It wasn’t long before a soft coo-like snore could be heard from deep within Envy’s den.
