RE: BLOODSOAKED SAND - Kerberos - Jul 02 2015 Don't you ever tame your demons
But always keep 'em on a leash But Kerberos didn't have any friends or family or anything. The only person he knew was this fluffy noodle of white, who was something to eat but not yet, or... or something. The cerberus listened to the rest of it, tail twitching and flicking, wacking the ferns by him noisely. It just didn't make any sense, really. His ears twitched and his heads tilted as he watched Baratheon hunt and explain. When it was his turn, the great beast wasn't sure he understood or was even ready to hunt bugs or anything, but he would give it a try. The white dog stood, sniffing the air with all three different colored noses, his tail growing still finally. He didn't really smell any bugs but his left head noticed the ladybug Baratheon had caught flutter back down on top of a nearby fern. His ears perked and he woofed quietly to the others. He became still and quiet, each head focusing on the bright red bug as it seemed to settle down. He snuck forward, eyes locked on the tiny creature. He could get it, he could. A growl ripped through his throats and he pounced, a half roar bursting from his jaws as he lunged for the ladybug with his oversized paws. And he practically destroyed the fern, crashing through it with his big white body, yet as his heads perked up through the greenery, a wide grin crossed from one face to the other. The cerberus held up his paw towards Baratheon, the lady bug crushed under the plate of red-yellow gem that made up most of his forepaw. RE: BLOODSOAKED SAND - Baratheon - Jul 02 2015 BARATHEON "the world is mine for the taking" Baratheon watched as Kerberos attempted to recreate the movements that he had done. He was silent, quiet to keep from disturbing the concentrating puppy. He could feel his tail start wag excitedly as the puppy prepared to pounce. He could do it! Baratheon knew he could! He wanted to yell out an encouragement but that would be counterproductive. So he just sat there with mounting excitement as he watched Kerberos. With far less grace than the dragon the large puppy crashed through ferns. Baratheon wasn't sure if he had caught the bug or not, it certainly didn't look like it. With all the noise the dragon was certain that the bug would have flown away. Oh well, they couldn't all be successful pounces. Baratheon rose to his paws and trotted over to the puppy just as the paw was lifted in his direction. "Oh!" He said in pleasant surprise. There on the gem of his paw-pad was a crushed but undeniable ladybug. "You did it!" He cheered happily, dancing on his four paws with his tail wagging furiously. "You're a bonafied hunter now!" Well, he hadn't actually practiced on real prey but if he could catch an elusive bug he could certainly catch a mouse. But always keep 'em on a leash Kerberos was incredibly proud of himself. He licked the bug off of his paw and made a face at the taste, but he cleaned the whole smooth red and yellow gem clean. His non-licky faces turned attention to the white, fluffy dragon and grinned with pointy, little baby teeth at his future rival. Red nose's muzzle wrinkled up, his eyes narrowing in a-- maybe playful?-- snarl, KERB EXIT! RE: BLOODSOAKED SAND - Baratheon - Jul 07 2015 BARATHEON "the world is mine for the taking" Baratheon was glad to see that his new friend had taken the lessons to heart and hopefully wouldn't be trying to eat anyone or call anyone else food. Though the idea of "playing" again sounded like tons of fun! Baratheon nodded enthusiastically while his tail wagged behind him. "Sounds like a plan! Bye, Ker, Ber, and Os!" He raised a paw to wave to them while they walked away. He watched them for a moment before turning and going his own way... He had some thinking to do. . words: 88 tagged: Kerberos ooc: exit muse: 5/10 "Talking looks like this." Thinking looks like this... |
