RE: Fire in her heart, dumbass in her veins - Kalama - May 21 2020 Kalama wasn't sure what had happened within the past minute. First she'd been fighting Aure. Then the giant ice worm came back for round two(which she would have won). And then a noise unlike any other pierced her ears. Her feathers were blasted back by the command of 'HUSH'. Nearly too loud to be comprehended as sound. The sheer shock seemed instrumental in ending her vision. There was no ice worm. No tiny worms crawling about her feathers. She was back in the clearing of bones, surrounded by gembound. Pinned by a white dog that wasn't the ice worm. And Aure. The whole fight Aure had been passive. Never attacking her, much to her irritation. This was a far cry from the way Aure had been in the fight. More powerful than she thought. Kalama felt... not scared. She wouldn't be scared of them. Kalama would never feel that towards a gembound. Not one less than her. She felt...apprehension. She hesitated, wings tucked. Aure had more power than she thought. Not to mention the Bonbound had see war? And she'd missed it? That was unfair. The dog's paws on her hurt. And it was embarrassing for her to get pinned by another gembound. Was the dog part worm? She absently wondered. "Get off of me!" Kalama said. She wriggled, trying to free herself. After a bunch of wriggling and a little bit of flailing, Kalama managed to squeeze from beneath the dog's paws. She glared at the three headed dog, before turning her fiery gaze onto Aure. Defending the Bonebound had never been her primary goal. She was here to get strong. Learn from her teacher. She was stronger than her teacher now. She didn't need any of the Bonebound. Kalama stomped a clawed foot onto the dirt. Kalama shook herself out, feeling the blooming bruises start to ache. She began to walk away from the grouping of gembound. She paused, hearing Imp's voice. "Imp, you only carried me because I let you! I could've won on my own!" She said. Attempting to save a little bit of face. When she got to her crystal she had a lot of work to do. To make sure they turned out unlike the Bonebound's quivering idiots. ;exit kalama unless stopped RE: Fire in her heart, dumbass in her veins - Giggle - May 22 2020 Giggle's dark eyes narrowed as the chicken made her threats. She glanced to Aure. "She'll come back-," she growled, her tone one of warning. "I'd stop her, or at least follow her, if I were you. Omen!" She sent her mind along the link to her familiar, trying to send her to follow Kalama; and Giggle herself stood, trying to push her mind for the chicken's. What she got was a backlash, one that sent her careening back onto her haunches from where she'd stood. A pained grunt and a grimace showed that her magicka had failed, and she sat furious--her message to Omen lost--and hoped that Aure would perform better than she.
exit Giggle RE: Fire in her heart, dumbass in her veins - Auré - May 23 2020 Kalama'd been spooked into silence long enough for him to speak, only for her to entirely miss the point. She sought only violence, bloodshed, death and destruction; and with all that said, she went off. ;exit aure |
