Comet took a few moments unraveling Kitty's words before nodding. Moss for the blood and the webs to make them stay on. Collecting the moss and the webs, she tried securing the moss in place, only for it to fall apart. Darn. "Hold on I'll get more." she looked around for more moss, hopefully some that wouldn't fall apart so easily.

Kitty's ears laid flat. For one reason or another, Comet had decided to help her even after Kitty had attacked her -- she wasn't sure why. It hadn't yet occurred to the young creature that sometimes, people just did things to be kind. The idea was almost unfathomable. The line of reasoning was enough to help distract her as the pain settled into a hot throb in time with her heartbeat, manageable for the timebeing. She didn't know what could top this.
"Thank you," she mumbled, unable to think of anything else to say.

Comet smiled in response, and kept right on working to patch up the wound. Hopefully it would actually work this time. The cobweb held the moss tightly into place, and the blood flow was slowed. "There, now it's patched up!" she gave it a small pat to ensure it wouldn't fall off.
"I'm sorry I caused that to happen." Comet folded back her ears, still feeling pretty guilty that she had done such a thing.

Kitty cringed as Comet patched her up, her ears laid back flat. "'S my fault," Kitty mumbled, able to understand the apology, at least. She stumbled to her feet, favoring the injured paw and eyeing the nearby trees suspiciously. She really needed to get out of here... "Bye," Kitty said, and then she was scampering away as best she could.
