Run for the Hills! - Khavur - Jun 22 2021
This thread is backdated to being after Hearts Colors Change Like Leaves! For those curious that places it about 4-5 months ago. Shh.
Now here is where Khavur exercised caution. This place was dark and barren, hard to move through quickly and, perhaps, easy to get lost in. Was it possible to lose someone as large as Khavur, or as tall as Maximus? Nevertheless, they kept close to Maximus, making sure they were touching in some form all the way throughout.
Khavur did not wish to speak aloud out here, so they tugged on the link: 'The Sentinel called this place a tunnel of light, but every time I have walked through it, it has been nothing but dark and ominous. I met another monster in here, who seemed like they might have belonged in the Chaos Forge, but they acted... odd. Like a Lesser Gembound, but unafraid of me. I kept meeting our kind in all the caves, or else no one at all- but, in any case... stay close to me, and walk quickly if you wish. I do not know what other kinds of creatures would lurk here, or what hand of desolation smothers this place.' That hand of desolation actually kind of reminded them of Draconua. But we won't talk about her. Not on this trip.
@V-Chaos-Two (for part 2 of the vacation! i'm cutting down the threads so it's more manageable, so this will be their only thread in Tunnel K this trip. Also I'm not making anyone join a 4-5 month backdated spar in Orion so that's cut too ghghgh)
RE: Run for the Hills! - Maximus - Jun 22 2021
Maximus followed as silently as possible, listening intently.
’... I wonder why they would say that,’ they thought, ’But a monster? What did it look like?’
They shuffled just a bit closer, their eye glow illuminating their footing, thankfully. They held onto Khavur as they walked, spear in hand. At least the darkness was quiet.
’It feels so strange.’ they thought, looking all around, ’It's quiet and dark but there is almost a presence to it. A looming sense that we should not be here, like there is nothing here and there should not be.’
They wanted out of here as soon as possible.
Max kept their hand on their sibling, ears pinned, ’I don't like this very much...’
