"MASTER VARGAS!!", Chaos-Two shouted, likely over a screaming piglet, still cradling the little thing in their arms, "Oh please be quiet, little one!! No one will hear me over you."

They pitied anyone sleeping at that moment or trying to have some peace and quiet. This piglet had the lungs of a whale it seemed, and screamed so loud their ears rang.

"I found a child!", they called out, running towards where they thought they'd find the Leviathan, hoping desperately he was there.

Selfishly they wished for a reward for this, but the other half of them only wanted this little child to have a home, first. A warm place to sleep, food, and a support network, as flawed as the Chaos-Forge was.

Chaos-Two looked traumatized by the time they made it to Vargas, clutching the thing to their chest to try and at least muffle their noises. They stood for a moment to try and collect themselves before they held them out, feeling like their eyes were vibrating from the shrieking. Any louder and they'd have popped.

"They hatched in the tunnel," they said, "I fed them but they continued to scream. So loud that I'm not entirely sure it's not some sort of ability they have. It certainly threw me off..."

They both wanted to hold this little thing very close and throw it as far as possible and they weren't sure which one would be better. The latter seemed more likely.

"I figured that they could possibly fit in. Kethri and Doctor managed, and so did Esther," they said, "And just because they're small now doesn't mean they will be later. I mean... look at me."

They'd been tiny compared to their grown self, and especially to the others of their clutch, and of Alpha's. But they'd grown to be more than ten times that.

"... Perhaps I've unfortunately mistaken 'screaming at the top of your lungs' for something chaotic," Chaos-Two said, and looked down at the small piglet, at their small eyes and little face.

But no one would take them in. No one but... but little V-Chaos-Two, the valkhound with a heart.

"My apologies," they said softly, both to Vargas and the small little thing in their arms, who had no idea what was going on and probably had no idea that Chaos-Two now had to dump them out into the cold to fend for themselves.

"May I be dismissed, Master Vargas?", they asked, unhappy but unable to do anything about it.

There was nothing they could do. They weren't the babysitter anymore and like Vargas said, there wasn't one now. But still, leaving this... this baby out in the wild? This was as difficult as their transcendence trial, perhaps more so. At least the lessers there had ended up okay.

Chaos-Two knew the moment those words left the piglet's mouth that no good would come from it. They froze, staring at Vargas, waiting for what he'd do, unable to even tremble as that great big hand reached out.

They flinched at the sound it made and nearly yanked away, though they did clutch the piglet tighter, staring down at the ground.

"I'm so sorry," they said, on behalf of the piglet, "I-I'll make sure not to make this mistake again."

With that they turned, clutching Porkchop tightly as they trotted off, heading to the tunnel to release the baby. Perhaps they'd go to Pegasus instead, though. There they could tell it to stay far, far away from Draco, lest it stupidly wander back inside and get itself killed.
