Appearance: Created with much of Kethri's old form as a nod to her--size, shape, silent flight ability, zygodactyly--this creature was also granted Vargas's colors, acidic blood and eye/maw-glow, and hard purple horns. It bears an owl's incredible senses of sight and hearing, able to pinpoint even tiny sounds from a distance. Rather than bearing a beak, however, its entire face can split into a chomping grin, its teeth formed of hard bone that jut straight out of the flesh without any sign of gums. Feathers usually partially hide this mouth. An extra glowing eye can open on the back of the head to watch behind the owl-creature, despite the fact that it can still turn its head nearly 180' in the other direction anyway. Vargas has attempted to impart the following personality traits, which may or may not (or may partially) take hold: "loyalty, dutiful nature, curiosity, a desire for learning and pressing for information, sharp mind/cunning, and the knowledge of when to hold its tongue."
