would you like to share a moment with me - Game Master CJ - Aug 01 2015 hello origin!! this is long im so sorry i just need somewhere to share my feelings lmao ;_; you've been seeing more of me nowadays but i haven't been around, and i'm sorry! it was a rough patch for sure, but i'm in such a good mood right now (that i cannot post jupiter in the THREAD I AM SO EXCITED but i definitely can't write her right now) because i just came back from my first concert, an imagine dragons concert. it was the second-to-last night of their smoke+mirrors tour. when we first got in i was nearly in tears because large crowds are pretty much my least favorite thing in the world, like i'd probably high-five a tornado more willingly than subjecting myself to large, loud crowds... anyway alright my boyfriend was there and he's my rock, so that was the only reason i probably survived the opening acts. when imagine dragons came on though, it was so euphoric. ever since ~2011 i have been listening to their music, and it's what i listen to the most (i do listen to other things). imagine dragons is my safe place, i don't know if any of you have depression/anxiety/whatever but if you do, you know how you have that one thing? that thing that brings you back from the brink? probably keeps you alive some days? that's imagine dragons for me. their music has been incredible therapy, and dan reynolds also suffers depression so some of the music really hits home 'cause that man knows whats up (and what is so terribly down), he's got such a good heart and it breaks my heart sometimes to know that. his enthusiasm and his strength is uplifting but so heartbreaking, because you know those kind of people have really been at their worst at some point... seeing them in person was surreal! it was absolutely incredible to share energy with everyone there, and with the band themselves. it's a strange thing to share a space and time with the very people who have saved your life several times. even i if i can't tell them, being there with them was like nothing i've ever felt before. it's really something! okay sorry for the feels post like i mentioned in the beginning, it's been a really rough period for me recently but i've been staring down the tickets on the fridge for months and to finally be here in such a euphoric state - i haven't felt this in so long, it makes me feel really good. i'd never thought i'd go to a concert (and survive without a mild heart attack) but i couldn't let this opportunity pass me up! do you guys have any moments like this?? you might notice imagine dragons lyrics in a lot of my stuff, lmfao im so sorry i cannot function as a person some days without listening to them. i take 300mg wellbutrin every morning but some days you just need your thing, your therapy, the thing that works for you, you know? ;_; thanks imagine dragons, yall dabest. you don't have to share if you don't want to, but what/who are you thankful for/to? :') bonus picture because the leaf cutouts were a really cool effect (not that you can tell they are leaves but they are leaves i promise lol) and here's a picture during the performance of 'on top of the world' which is one of the strongest songs for me, i probably listen to that more than anything oh god :T (and i bet my life, but that one is like double meaning because i made it the theme song for a character (NAMED ORI, HOLLA@WOLFS) that was like the travel companion to one of madison's characters once but long story short it's like.. just a super strong relationship with things song lol) and for kicks here's i bet my life, but it was a real blurry picture i only took a few pictures, just one each of the most important songs to me which was like.. three... yeah :'D RE: would you like to share a moment with me - Louie - Aug 01 2015 THAT'S SO EXCITING CJ!!! I'm the same, if I feel overwhelmed I can always turn to my boyfriend as he knows what to do :'). But Imagine Dragons concert sounds amazing!! I've always wanted to go to a concert and Imagine Dragons is definitely on the top of my list, (coming September to Australia actually but I gotta be so stingy with funds ;3;). While I don't identify with Imagine Dragons on such a connected level (I have other bands who do that for me <3) It is always so awesome to have those songs to fall back on to just clear your head and get you through! :) I'm glad you had such a great time and survived!!! <3 RE: would you like to share a moment with me - Leon - Aug 01 2015 !!!
