Why Can't We Be Friends? - Louie - Aug 04 2015 Still, he hadn't yet sought need to venture into Polaris which was now merely a nest for a terrible reptilian beast. Instead he was focusing on his disease, his beautiful delightful disease. As if in response, he burped and this just cause him to grin wider. Whatever it was he housed in his gut would become an epidemic in the tunnels of Origin cave. Now all he needed was the perfect time, preferably when the hell beast was gone so all attention could be on him, and it would be off to the bank with the spoils of war. Now, Louie never prided himself on being overly handsome, he always tried to make sure he was neat and tidy and one of the best looking with in a group but he had never felt need to feel threatened by something else. There were no other foxes within the gave that he could tell, and if there were any then they obviously weren't worth his time as they were nobodies. He would be a somebody one day and show them. Pressing up against a quartz monolith, he sighed. It had been a while since he had witnessed gembound hatching and he was hoping to brainwash a couple more younglings... @Eve RE: 1+1 = Contest - Eve - Aug 04 2015 ________________
RE: 1+1 = Contest - Louie - Aug 04 2015 But of course silence would be too much to ask for and the harsh caw of the raven above him made him shiver as he glared up in the soft light to lay his eyes on the bird. This one was different to the original crow he had met and he scowled. Unfamiliar and not yet identified as hostile, he stood up straighter and barked, "You called for attention?" A smirk crossed his lips as he flicked his tail backwards and forth. Feeling almost mocked by the bird as she preened herself while watching him. To compare a bird with a mammal was difficult, but he felt he could "out catwalk" her. RE: 1+1 = Contest - Eve - Aug 04 2015 ________________
RE: 1+1 = Contest - Louie - Aug 04 2015 So now she was telling him what to do. Although she hadn't meant harm by it his rocky self given authority was rattled by being ordered what to do, the first time he had actually been directly told to do something by anyone other than Diamondfang. Snorting, he curled his lip, "Like a ratchet girl all your care about are your looks." But he did get her point and opted to shift himself around the quartz structure so his back was to where the Polaris exit would be. Slumping to the ground, he kicked the dust out from under his paw as he turned to glance up at her. Still grooming. "Do you really have nothing better to do?" As if to "rival" her, he began to clean himself with swift brushes of his broad tongue over his chest and forelegs. Not nearly as cleanly as a cat, he struggled to remove the worst parts of the dirt and he snorted again. RE: 1+1 = Contest - Eve - Aug 04 2015 ________________
RE: 1+1 = Contest - Louie - Aug 04 2015 "As I don't possess feathers that require constant grooming or "preening" as you birds seem to HAVE to call it I wouldn't know." Not even satisfied with the work his tongue had done he merely gave up, rolled his eyes and watched as she hopped down the ledge to where he was. Feeling overly self conscious by her black eyes gazing him up and down, he shuffled nervously and drew in on himself. "Anything you're looking for?" There was slight bitterness to his voice, but she had given him no reason to attack her and it's not like that would cause the big bang effect he was hoping to go for when he killed countless Gembounds. In order to ease his discomfort, he got up and tried to send out a puff of good bacteria one would be able to inhale and relax with... ... Not enough to provide him with full relief, it did calm his nerves just a bit and he wondered if he could play a few games with Eve. "Do you want to experiment with this spell I've been working on?" Whatever was rumbling in his gut was not what he was referring to, he was referring to the tiny spores that were embedded in his skin, ready to be displaced and send up a cloud of dandruff sized clumps. Enough to give anyone a buzz if that was what he intended, and right now he could really go for something to get his mind off the stress of the world. RE: WEED BE CUTE 2GETHER - Louie - Aug 04 2015 Heck yeaaaaah, although he had been experimenting with the more dangerous side of this spell, it was only a matter of changing a few key chemicals to get it right. Louie felt his smirk coming on again as he shook out the fur along his neck and back, he didn't even bother addressing her question about preening as he focused on doing some house keeping of his own... ...It worked a little bit, he hoped next time it would be better but he felt weird colours begin to dance across his vision. What the hell was he doing? This was a dumb idea but he was too lost in his own weird thoughts now to think of anything else. Closing his eyes, he inhaled the spores that floated effortlessly in the air since being shaken from his pelt. Still, he was aware of what was going on around him and he could keep his train of thought but he was enjoying the calming sensation. Little did he know what injuries he would sustain would cause him to do this frequently. Maybe not so much with hallucination but the point could be gotten. Looking over the crow girl, he wondered if she was feeling the effects, "You... You feel it?" Slightly out of it he tried to snap himself back to attention but failed as his paw completely missed the side of his face. RE: Why Can't We Be Friends? - Eve - Aug 04 2015 ________________
Is... is this what death is like? The crow just sort of stood there, watching as colours began to blend together in front of her, twisting and spiraling, forming new shapes she didn't recognize. There was a strange feeling washing over her, something she definitely hadn't felt before. Being a bird, Eve was almost always anxious. A good survival trait, especially when you're smaller than your species usually is. But now there was a pure feeling of calmness coming over her. She nestled down a little. "Y-yeaaah... I feel it, man..." she breathed. @Louie |
