ACTIVATES MY SUPER EPIC KITSUNE POWERS (training solo) - Bebby - Feb 27 2023
bebby has learned, atleast over time, that her magic can be improved. which is either a great thing, or a terrible thing, because she's about to light this tunnel up.
She runs in, buzzing with energy, switching between a sprint and flying and running, before crashing into the tunnel with a loud and triumphant cackle. she was READY.
As she hurled herself into the tunnel, she stomped her paws down, willing magic forward, AND-
Nothing.
well, not everyone can have a super epic entrance to their own training montage, but she thought she of all people would! she huffed, padding into the center of the tunnel.

No matter! she's here to practice, and that means even if she's getting better at magic, she will still fail. stay POSITIVE, Glitterpaws! you've got this.
She sighs, a deep breath, and tries a bit more calmly this time to give herself a stage.
Finally, with a bit more concentration, bowing her head, she flicks up her bangs with her paws to the ground for dramatics, setting off a beautifully bright spotlight just on her! she sees the sugar sparkles in her fur GLISTEN. GOD she's so pretty.
she smiles a toothy grin. now we're GETTING SOMEWHERE!

She rolled her shoulders in preparation. the stage for her was set in all her glittery glory, and now for the REAL training!
she looks around. this place could really use some more color, dontcha think? she looks to the geode walls, seeing how they reflect the light around them, and smiles. she knows what she's gotta do.
with a bow and flick of her head, her sparkly sugar unicorn horn pointed majestically at one of the walls, lights FILLS the room, lazers of all sorts of bright neon colors bouncing off the geode walls and turning the already well lit room into a PARTY.
bebby Gleefully jumped through them, flying through her beautiful decoration with delight. this was FUN!

oh, but what's pretty rainbows without contrast, right?
she thinks to herself. the light hardly stands out if its already bright! time to darken this place up a bit, just around the corners, so her beautiful magic stands out!
she concentrates, trying to will the shadows into places she sees fit.
When she opens her eyes, she frowns. its definitely BETTER, dont get her wrong!! but not quite what she was looking for. she shrugs. oh well! still, its very pretty in here now.

She hums. she feels like theres still more she can DO here. OOH, MAYBE SOME DANCING LIGHTS TOO!! get some movement in here!!
she thinks this might be alot though. she worries, if only slightly, this might be too much for her to accomplish. she feels a spark of energy in her paws, this magic wasn't something she learned herself, though she knows its her own.
well, only one way to find out.
she wills her magic forward again, trying to create some sort of dancing image.
it works, kinda. it draining, and she feels tired, like a well of magic being pulled from within her soul at the effort, but it WORKS.
on the walls and around her form shapes of dancing gembound, some she recognizes! Genevive, forgraves, even a little dancing bat she's sure is nico! the others are wildly unrecognizable, some so blurry she can't make out a shape at all, but it works, and its beautiful!

She smiles. this is going pretty well!! she's tired, but she has more up her sleeve!!
she runs over to one of the bones on the floor and SMACKS her paw into it, willing magic forward. these bones NEED to glow!! right now!!
she smiles at it sparks to life, a beautiful yellow glow emanating from one of the bones sticking out of the wall.

ANOTHER ONE!!
she runs up to another bone sticking out of the wall, slapping her paw with a clicking sound onto it and willing MORE of her magic forward. she will leave this place with it looking FABULOUS.
she frowns, disappointed at the lack of strong glow, but it's bright enough. variety is the spice of life, right?
she looks around for more things to bauble...

she runs over to a pile of pebbles, shoving her massive paws in and ruffling them around, trying to light em up at random. maybe she can throw a BUNCH of baubled pebbles around the room to make it pretty! might take a bit to get so many though.
one more her magic was faint, one of the smaller ones a dim glow rather than anything spectacular. she huffed.
was it because she was getting tired?

she huffed. she doesn't have the energy required to do much more, now that she thinks about it. she looks around the room, otherwise satisfied with her handiwork.
maybe one more try on a pebble, just to be sure. then she'll go home.
she finds a particularly pretty one, colorful and bright, and holds it firmly in her massive paw.
She kinda wasn't expecting the extent of which this would work.
she notes in the moments prior, she feels a pressure in her chest, like someone kicked her and was sucking the air out of her lungs with a vacuum at the same time, before the cave was illuminated in blinding white light.
she SCREAMS, half in joy and half out of panic, as the reflective cave is filled for atleast 10 seconds with light, the world around bebby white and yellow and even when she closes her eyes the light is so strong that it follows her, her vision a cloud of pinkish orange that STILL hurts her eyes.
the light bounces off the geode and crystal walls and ceiling of the tunnel, and she swears it gets atleast 2 degrees hotter, before it stops.
she waits, hesitant, for a moment. she blinks her eyes open cautiously, looking down at the rock and squinting with a giddy smile. the rock, all color and glimmer, glowed brightly in her hand, radiating a strong and powerful light that broke through her magical shadows.
she holds it in her teeth, exhausted and proud of herself, stumbling home. she did well enough for today, she thinks. she just hopes she makes it home before she passes out...
