DIRT PUDDING [training solo] - Bebby - Feb 27 2023

bebby was back up and running! she needs to practice more, but she doesn't wanna bore herself doing all of it in one place. she liked tunnel N enough, the air sweet and the first few times she accidentally fell on her face here, the dirt was sweet like candy!! a favorite, if you couldn't tell.

it's a smaller tunnel, but reasonably dark. needs more like, for sure. how about another spotlight??

she slams her paws into the center of the cave, hoping to conjure forth something magical.

she smiles as, with another surge of magic and a flick of her paws, the tunnel springs to light. she can actually SEE now, which is perfect. it'd be hard to practice if she couldn't.

down to business then!

She had come prepared this time, a few small plants in a pouch tied carefully around her neck, small uprooted plants from Forgraves garden. She didn't get to grow any flowers the other day, so now is the time!

shaking the pouch with a bit of trouble off her face, she grabbed a few of the starters in her mouth, humming as she walked over to a patch of dirt and began planting them, digging little holes and setting them inside.

she figured this tunnel could use some life, and these sickly sweet plants, green leaves bordered with hot pink that smelled a bit like a parfait, were perfect!!

she wiggled in place and sat down, and touched her paw to one of the plantlings.

they grew forward with her magic, but not by alot. enough to sprout flowery buds, and atleast one bloomed a little bit, light baby pink petals similar to a rose, chrysanthemum hybrid, but it wasn't the best she could do. she huffed.

She would continue doing this, taking it a bit more easy today. it wouldn't help anything to get too excited, which all things considered was out of character for her.

either way, she tried again, an easy claw willing magic into the sproutling next to it.

better this time, she noted, the sapling sprouting forward with vigor and buds opening to reveal lush and gorgeous flowers, the smell sweet and light. she grinned, leaning forward and immediately shoving one directly into her mouth.

...

what? she's hungry.

She would do this one more time on this side of the tunnel, a third bush of flowers would do nicely to give it a bit more color.

once more, she willed her magic into the plants in front of her, and once more, it would be beautiful!!

She laughed in absolute glee as another bush of gorgeous flowers grew forth, climbing a bit up the wall she had planted it near.

the air, full of magic, now smelled even sweeter, fruit and candy filling her nostrils. what joy!

she huffed. she was already pretty tired, the plants sucking alot of magic out of her at a time. but it was worth it, right? she smiled, maybe she'd sit and rest for a minute.

she laid on the dirt, and after a bit of consideration, started licking the floor, like a mountain goat to a salt deposit.

it was an odd sight.

she didn't know exactly WHY she felt the need to practice her magic so much, but her magic was pretty, wasn't it? and what the matter with more beauty?

She gets up after a minute of spicy dirt licking to do MORE MAGIC.

she grabs the rest of the seedlings and rushes over to another bit of the tunnel, which isn't that far away given the tunnel is tiny.

she plants the remaining seedlings and rushes to start growing them immediately. cant spend too long resting!!

As she tries to push more of her magic into the plant, it doesn't work as good, once more growing buds and blooming a lil but not by alot.

oh well. theres plenty others.

She runs over to a different seedling, practically slapping the dirt. she was TIRED, and needs to hurry up.

FINALLY, aother cluster of flowers springs to life beneath her paws, the rush of magic both draining and exhilierating!

"I AM THE QUEEN OF PLANTS!!!" she shouts to herself proudly, snickering.

she runs off to another one.

She runs to the final seedling, huffing.

she was tired, but she could feel herself getting the hang of this, and she felt so proud of herself.

she planted another paw into the dirt, panting with a smile.

she felt herself growing incredibly tired as more magic poured into the dirt, and the flowers sprung forward once again. the tunnel smelt lovely, and she was proud of the work she'd done. she'd probably have to come back and water them maybe?? oh well.

she sighed, looking around.

she wonders, idly, if she could manage one more spell. a small one, probably?

she sits down, panting. rest, first. she's useless if she doesn't rest. pushing herself too hard, especially in times where magic would be important, isn't gonna help anybody.

she leans to one of the bushes of flowers and eats another one, sighing contentedly.

She kinda dozes off for a second, head nodding to the side.

she wakes up after a minute, rolling over to crack a piece of candy off her back.

she chews on that for a minute, thinking about all the cool things she could do with her magic, half delirious.

she could fill a tunnel with flowers, or bauble enough things to light up a CAVE. maybe one day she could even get better at doing other stuff. other magic!!! wouldn't that be fun.

after a few minutes she stretches and sits back up. one more spell, and she'll go home.
