Peach Scone is officially Sick Of This Bullshit.
She doesn't know what the hell she's doing with her life. Her young years flew by and now she's grown, physically anyway. But she still doesn't have the world any more figured out than she did when she was smaller.
Ourgh.
At least she has her collection of pretty rocks to keep her company. The collection is entirely too small, but hey. Rocks.
One thing Peach Scone has discovered is that when it's terribly wrapped up in emotion, it helps to bite trees.
"Ugh, but I can't bite trees here," they groaned. "The hellswans will Eat My Flesh. Is there nothing to bite here??"

Onyx-Three came to Cepheus often. It was a good cave that wasn't too far of a trek from Draco in comparison to other places, yet there seemed to be many gembounds that came here too. Almost no one visited his home cave. But here in Cepheus, it was quite easy to find others outside of the Forge that he could train with. And so, with Sentinel accompanying him once again at a distance, Onyx-Three found himself looking around for any gembounds who may want to accept his offer.
Oh look, there, some... funky looking creature. She was smaller than him, but not by much, as he was around five feet tall at this point when standing on his hind legs. "Hello." they called out, walking closer, ears listening for a response. Instead what they heard was something about biting trees. Did she bite trees often? That was a bit concerning! Especially considering how tough they were, with bark and all. Was it a good idea to talk to her? She might be dangerous! Luckily the Sentinel was around in case something happened. "Would you like to spar?" To the point. He was not one for small talk. Though they kept a distance away from the funky creature in case it turned out she was very dangerous.

Peach Scone turned around and Bam there he was, like some sort of 'I have heard you are losing it and want to Bite People' angel sent from the stars.
He was like no creature Peach Scone had ever seen before, but Peach Scone had not seen a lot of creatures--and a lot of beings reacted to her with horror and/or disturbance anyways, so what right did she have to judge.
"Yes, absolutely," she chirps, before lunging. "Do not worry, I am squishy." Her intent is a simple headbutt, straight to the chest. As she assured the strange creature, her head was not hard enough to do anything more than perhaps wind him.

On the positive side: She does manage to headbutt him.
On the negative: It immediately bounced off with a comical boingboingboing noise. It didn't even know that was a sound Gembound could make.

Oh- they were getting right to it. Before he knew it, Peach Scone had managed to headbutt him, though it was strangely... squishy? It was only after this had happened that they fully comprehended its words. It was legit squishy. Like- how does this thing exist squishy. Not to mention the sound it made after she bounced off. The hybrid stood there for a few seconds, incredibly confused how what the hell he was experiencing right now. "You. You are squishy." they said in a very confused voice. But this was good for learning, for training. After all, what if he met an opponent who was squishy in the future? He had to be prepared!
Onyx-Three did not want to use his claws in sparring, as that would hurt. So instead he settled for trying to punch Peach Scone in its stomach, if it was a stomach. Just in the center of the body. If it landed, it would be a rather light blow, as if trying to test the true squishiness of the creature.

Peach Scone let out a feral yip of delight as the other creature immediately rose to the challenge, swinging with its strange hand, claws tucked in.
"I am squishy, toldja!" she chirps as she attempts to barrel roll away from the blow. Have you ever seen a horrific ocean amalgamation made of 95% helium try to barrel roll? It's truly an astounding sight.

Of course, because she is a horrific ocean amalgamation made of 95% helium, she does not succeed, and is unceremoniously punched in the gut.
It's only a light tap, but it still makes Peach Scone's innards fold in a way that is exceedingly unpleasant to witness, if not all that painful.
She laughs anyway. "Good hit!"

This was unlike any sparring he had ever done before. It was more concerning than anything to witness Peach Scone's body fold in a way that should not be possible despite the success of his hit. He was almost prompted to ask if it was okay- but she did not act hurt in any way. Was this a distraction technique? Onyx-Three had to admit though, the strangeness of the body in general was a very effective way of hiding weak points.
His next attempt was a swing coming in at a right diagonal, in an attempt to get Peach Scone to stop... weirdly floating like that. It would not hurt of course, though at this point they were questioning whether it was even possible to hurt it.

Peach Scone does not attempt to resist this next blow, figuring it a waste of energy.
She goes with the flow, flattening into a moderately less distressing shape, before rolling her entire body like a rapidly slithering snake as she darts over towards the creature's tail and attempts to yank him down to the ground with her tendrils.
Given her... everything, she's unsure of how wise this endeavor is. But to hell with caution.

She continues to look incredibly concerning. The way she rolls and flattens is not something that should exist. It simply shouldn't. But who was he to judge, huh? It was a smart design after all, one that was incredibly useful in combat. Though... it didn't seem like it could do much damage either.
And now she was going for his tail! It takes a second to register, but he quickly turns around, swinging his tail in an arc to try to smack Peach Stone breathless. Sometimes Onyx-Three forgets how muscled his tail is.

Predictably, the tail thing goes awry, but the other creature continues to look utterly horrified every time she moves so that's like, a win in spirit, right? Points for psychological warfare? That's a thing?
After the first smack into a hard surface, Peach Scone lets go with a loud "It's Beachball Time" as she tries to cushion the impact.
What is a beachball? Who the fuck knows, dude. But it just feels right, and so Peach Scone says it.
The bounciness spell combined with Peach Scone's general distressing defiance of reality creates interesting results. She bounces into a wall, then another, then another, trying to build momentum for the Super Cool Stunt she's got planned.

Finally, Peach Scone's figured out her Super Cool Plan.
When she bounces onto a wall adjacent the other creature, she springs, jaws open comically wide revealing rows and rows of teeth-like structures on the roof of her mouth, leatherback sea turtle style. This individual is just generally unsettling, huh.
She's trying to bite the creature's ear. Not hard, just enough to prove her superiority.

She shoots! She misses! She smacks violently into the floor and then bounces several feet up!
"This is FUN," Peach Scone declares, despite the fact that she has failed to inflict any wounds other than psychological ones the entire fight.
