Little yet so curious - Soleil - Jul 19 2023 The little mammal had just hatched out, his size barely a handful in a human's hand, he was so small. Usually on earth, tamarins come in pairs, twins, with loving parents, however the little primate was alone, but that didn't seem to bother the little lad. He opened his eyes to see a new world before him and it took him a few tries, but he did eventually get up on his fours. The small tamarin was overjoyed, his orange eyes looking around the area he hatched in his tail swaying across the sandy ground as he wobbled around. The warm area made him feel like he's at home. He took a moment to look at the ground before speaking. "Sand…? Sand!!!" He screeched with excitement, hopping in place before rolling into the sand, getting his long fur covered in it. For a while he played and played before getting eventually bored and wanted to do something new. He had an urge to blow something out of his lungs, like there was something he had to do. So he took a big inhale before exhaling as hard as he could. RE: Little yet so curious - Soleil - Jul 19 2023 The tamarin gasps at the streak of fire coming out of his lungs, he blinked and took a moment to process what he had just done before sitting up and waving his hand in excitement as his tail wagged like a dog's tail. "Fire!!! Me did fire!!!" He shouted with excitement before getting up to his fours, a big toothy grin on his face. More! Me, Soleil wants more!!!" He says with joy as he bounces on the ground before getting into a pose to prepare himself to do it again. Once the baby mammal was ready he took another big inhale, much better than the last inhale before doing it once again. He wanted more fire, more flames of warmth. He felt whole with the heat he can create. RE: Little yet so curious - Soleil - Jul 19 2023 Soleil giggled after he blew fire once again, the flames larger than the last before rolling into the sand smiling with a big toothy grin. He felt happy for himself before making a small yawn and laying down to rest for a little while before getting back up with the urge to explore, getting onto his twos to waddle around the bay. His arms doing the t-rex arms as he walked, his tail on the floor being used as balance. He would look around to look for new things, like maybe warm rocks to keep or so. His bright orange eyes glanced around the bay as he looked, a low purr in his throat as he did so. "Soleil looks, Soleil will find keeps!" He sang to himself as he wobbled around. RE: Little yet so curious - Soleil - Jul 19 2023 Soleil's search had sadly resulted in a failure, leaving him disappointed for not finding cool rocks to keep for himself, but that didn't let him stay upset because after all, there was so much to explore! He knows there's so many possibilities for him in this new world. It may seem scary to any other newborn gembounds, but not to Soleil. Soleil wants more to learn more to explore, more to play, he can't help but think of all the amazing possibilities. Maybe he'll find a family! Oh that made him so very excited. He definitely wanted a family to share warmth with, to play with. This gave Soleil a goal to have. The young gembound went on to explore more, to learn more of this interesting new world he had settled in. He was ready and prepared to meet new friends and family members. Soon enough Soleil has left the cavern he woke up in to see new places to go to. He was ready to explore.
