Lights up, let's go! - German - Aug 15 2015
Feeling content, the foreigner of the land climbed out and shook himself as dry as he could. It was just then that his head snapped around to the sound of a small squeak - a mouse. Right there! In front of him! No good opportunity should be wasted, and immediately he drew forward towards the mouse at the fastest speed his little legs could carry him. But the rodent was much quicker and dashed towards a hole that even his lithe body couldn't penetrate. With as much enthusiasm as he could muster, the boy slid to a stop and immediately wavered his tail, attempting to draw power from his body. He remembered learning it just a little bit with the large snake-like creature about a week ago. Would it work? Feeling the surge rush through his body, he whipped around to see if he could whip up enough energy to place a charge upon a piece of small brush that was covering half the hole the mouse was aiming for, hoping it'd bounce back and shock the critter to at least paralyze it. RE: Lights up, let's go! - Blackfeather - Aug 15 2015 The cat continued to pray for hours and hours before her stomach began to rumble. It disturbed her from her meditation. "Is that a sign that I should stop, All Mother?" Her eyes opened as she peered up lovingly at the giant mushroom. Every day when she meditated for hours she always received the signal of the rumbling stomach when it was time to stop. Once in the morning and once at night... or so she imagined. The cat dipped her head respectfully at the Mother before turning and padding away towards the Eyes. There were usually fish there and while the kitten could easily catch a mouse she much preferred the taste of fish. Besides, it made her feel closer to the All Mother when she ate food straight from her Eyes. Perhaps it would even allow her to See. As she neared the pools she heard the sound of another. It was a loud, masculine voice that she immediately knew wasn't her sister. It even sounded like a cry of distress! Oh no! The cat trotted ahead and quickly closed the distance between her and a white creature. It had a long body with purple eyes. Certainly not a Seer like she and her siblings nor a Guardian of the Garden. Blackfeather's eyes shone with concern as she eyed the other creature. "Brother... Brother! Are you alright? May I offer you any assistance?" Perhaps the All Mother had sent her away at this point just so she could help this other child. 327 @German --- 5/10 "Talking looks like this!" Thinking looks like this... We'll light up the sky,
We'll open the clouds...

"Humfph. I'm not your brother!" he called out rudely, splashing the water angrily with his small little paw. "Go away! I'm fine!" German lied, his body still in a bit of shock from electrocuting himself. Whoever this .. thing was, he was in no mood to talk to it, and wanted to just eat some food. It was hard living with no help for catching food, and difficult to learn to hunt without someone to teach him. Cocking his head sideways at a rapid speed, he stepped halfway back into the water, attempting to unfold this strange creature. She didn't seem like someone to injure him, but there was something that told him that she could be an incredible predatory. "Wh-What are you?" he asked in a more calmed tone, curiosity now taking over. |
