Irreverence for Pasts Unwanted - Garnet-Epsilon - Jan 13 2024

Garnet-Epsilon

They'd gone after Reverend in the end- equal parts curious as to who they are, and determined to get started on the task they'd gotten - and are only partially regretting pursuing the panicking other into Canis.

The bones make something shiver up their spine, and the fungal mat coating parts of the cave makes their hackles spike.

No, they're not a fan of this cave, nor of what ghosts it's held onto since times immemorial.

But they aren't looking for ghosts- they're looking for Reverend. A... pale gembound in a pale room. Hm.

Crap.

They try and flare their magic, making the spots along their spine and the tentacles on their tail flare with an eerie light.. if the lights allow. Maybe Reverend can see THEM. Make things easier

RE: Irreverence for Pasts Unwanted - Reverend - Jan 17 2024

Unfortunately, Reverend cannot see them. Not in the slightest, even. Almost like he was blind- Wait a minute.

Either way, he's struggling over some bones, prodding them with his staff to navigate around them. The jingling of bells echos around it, softened by the Order but still audible. He seems to fairing alright, all things considered.

Though, he stops for a moment, catching his breath. That's when he hears the quiet flapping of wings, once the chiming of bells quiets. Ears prick, and he turns to his side, listening again. It's hard for him to pinpoint the movement, without the feeling of footsteps to aid it. He's not even looking in the right direction to see Garnet-Epsilon if he could.

His voice sounds rough and hoarse when he calls out, "Hello? Is someone there?"
