How Many Leopards Does It Take To Acquire a Lightbulb? - Bacchus - May 18 2024

To know where best to set up the children's chrysalises in their prison, Bacchus needed to do some exploration. And to do that, the leopard would need to have a light source. His minded had immediately gone to the the familiar glowing crystals in Polaris.

So he had traveled there, only to realize he had forgotten one key detail in his planning. The crystals were attached to rocks. He glanced around, searching for one that was more weakly attached nearby, one that he could more easily dislodge.

It was a resounding success. He found a glowing crystal worn by time and barely holding onto the rock it was attached to.

Barely attached as it was, it did not take long for Bacchus to break off the crystal entirely. Glowing crystal in mouth now, he would begin his trek back.

It was annoying, the amount of travel this had taken, but it would be worth it in the end, to explore the area with a light source available.

Belatedly, his gaze strayed to some glowing moss... Yet, he hardly wished to bring moss with him, and then have to grow and remove it cruelly afterwards. No, a crystal was better for his purposes. Less plants damaged.
