old heart - Tectus - Jun 03 2024
RE: old heart - Kaizer - Jun 03 2024 Ears flicked, as the sound of another dilapidated building giving in to its age echoes down the street. For Kaizer, and nearly any other Gembound these days, the dust coating the buildings is normal. How it has always been.
But the sound of the collapse is worth investigating - did someone get caught up in it? Or even far more mundane, did it reveal any neat trinkets of lives long past? The answer, was in a way, both. Four pale white eyes peek around the corner, and he finds the massive Valkhound, glaring back with purposeful determination. It's mind wanders back to one of the two who oversaw the Trial in Hydra, the same hulking form and glowing eyes - but still very different. She is obviously unhurt, likely having brought the building down herself, but Kaizer still raises his voice, "Are you alright? Something wrong?" @Tectus RE: old heart - Tectus - Jun 03 2024
Ah good, as soon as the building came down, she felt the presence move closer to her before the spell ended and the awareness slipped away. She waited, patiently, flicking dust and rock off of her hide before the creature rounded the corner. It looked far more normal than that humanoid thing had been, much more like creatures she was used to - size, shape, eyes - but her gaze flickered to the pyrite upon the back of its head and the potential for a better move was quickly soured. RE: old heart - Kaizer - Jun 07 2024 He takes a step back, cautiously, as Tectus moves closer. He was big, but she was bigger, and far more armored - the thought of those claws ripping him to shreds wasn't exactly one it wanted to entertain. White eyes blink as she basically asserts that Kaizer will be helping her, not really in the position to protest.
"Oh-I-Uh. I can try to answer-" it stumbles over its words, already cut off again. The Valkhound is already upon him, and fearing an attack, he pushes his magic into his fur. Not that it does anything, but she doesn't sink her jaws into him either, so it's hopefully not a loss? Still, it lowers his head, trying to use his antlers to space her out a little. When it looks back up, it stares. "Whi made me? Well... uh... there's the one who gave life to my stone, Cadenza... I think my stone was just a lost onr though. Nothing special- I think." @Tectus |
