[BATTLE!] Sair vs Scion - Facing the Firetongue! - Sair - Jun 12 2024 Sair What an eventful day! Sair and their new companion had shuffled from one event to the other, and finally, Trill had begun to look excited for one of them. It seemed the word 'fight' translated to 'food' in Trill's mind, and it leaped onto the stage without much prompting. Thankfully, it had waited until their turn, although not without complaint. It really was a good thing that they were linked with the beast. If not for even the temporary bond it was, the Firetongue would have hypnotized and lured them without much trouble given the amount of competitors it had tried to 'befriend'. Quite the hoof-ful, it was! Talonful? It was still strange, having a mismatched set of limbs. They had proven useful, though, given the amount of times Sair had needed to grab the thing to keep it from gobbling another lesser up. "Speaking." Thinking. Doing. It hadn't really thought to give them a name, if it ever would. At least it had calmed down a little bit, after the initial shock of their temporary link snapping into place. It followed loyally behind, the promise of a fight keeping it sated for the time behind, but Scion could feel the energy begging to be released under those muscles. RE: [BATTLE!] Sair vs Scion - Facing the Firetongue! - Sair - Jun 18 2024 Sair The gembound that approached was yet another interesting specimen. Sair was starting to feel a little... bland. Even with the new pattern on their coat and their new set of legs, they were arguably plain in comparison to creatures like Juggernaut and Scion. "You have quite the mutations." They noted with an approving nod. "Venomous?" They gestured toward the twin scorpion tails. They were glad it was only their familiar fighting, and hopefully without bloodshed. 'A friendly competition.' They reminded Trill. "Speaking." Thinking. Doing. DEFENSE: INJURIES: RE: [BATTLE!] Sair vs Scion - Facing the Firetongue! - Scion - Jun 19 2024 Scion glanced towards Sair, a frown on its face. Ugh, it didn't come here to talk, it came here to watch a fight happen. ROUND 1/5 ATTEMPT: jump on the firetongue
DEFENSE: none INJURIES: none @Sair RE: [BATTLE!] Sair vs Scion - Facing the Firetongue! - Sair - Jun 29 2024 Sair Sair mentally shrugged off the frown. Not everyone liked to talk, but they had at least answered his question. Sair's own mutation had no such danger to it, save for the sharpness of the talons he now sported. They were good for grabbing, too, something he lacked before. "Speaking." Thinking. Doing. DEFENSE: INJURIES: RE: [BATTLE!] Sair vs Scion - Facing the Firetongue! - Scion - Jul 08 2024 The horse kept talking and Scion rolled its eyes. Ugh, they weren't here to talk. They were here to watch lessers fight in their stead. It noted, with amusement, that he had named the Lesser. Amazing, that the some thought that even randomly assigned lesser beings deserved titles without any prerequisites. ROUND 2/5 ATTEMPT: tackle
DEFENSE: none INJURIES: none @Sair RE: [BATTLE!] Sair vs Scion - Facing the Firetongue! - Sair - Jul 08 2024 Sair Sair could take a hint. It was true that they would have preferred more pleasant company, but at least the lack of conversation would allow them both to better focus on the battle. Something that Scion needed, if their familiar's actions were any indication. They tried to keep a neutral face as they turned away from the fight for a breather. "Speaking." Thinking. Doing.
