Circle of Death - Cyneweard - May 16 2025

Takes place directly after Spontaneous Cowbustion

He ends up carrying the gemstones to one of Orion's more intact ruined buildings. For a moment he debates leaving them here while he goes back to get his axe, but he figures that it's more likely for the gems to get stolen than the massive axe, and he'd feel really REALLY bad if the gemstones got stolen before he could revive them.

Although, he supposes theres only one of them that he REALLY owes it to.

It's a very pretty gemstone- dark purplish-black and filled with specks of prismatic color. He spends a moment turning it around in his hands and admiring it in the orb-light. But he feels a little bad- it used to be a person. But hopefully, he can help it become a person again.

"Sorry." He whispers as he presses his forehead against it. "I hope I can make it up to you in your next life."

It felt not unlike static electricity, except it was something deeper within him coming out, leaping off of the surface of his skin and into the gemstone. It felt oddly warm in his hands, so he placed it on the ground. Almost instantly it rooted to the floor, and began to grow.

Next, he'd pick up the Fluorapophyllite, still embedded in the bone of it's previous bearer. He wasn't sure how to remove the bone, so he hoped it'd be alright to just.. revive it as it was.

He'd do the same as he did with the previous gemstone, gently touching it with his forehead and willing a spark of magic into it. This time the gemstone absorbed the magic hungrily, almost as though it was pulling the magic out on it's own accord. It was a bit disconcerting, so he quickly placed it down a safe distance away from the black opal.

Alright. One more left.

The final gemstone wasn't stuck to any bones, but it did RESEMBLE a bone, more specifically a spinal vertebrae. It was a little creepy, somehow even more so than the literal bone with the gemstone in it. It was just kind of uncanny.

So, quickly, he'd push a spark of magic into it and place it on the ground, away from the other two stones.

Okay.. wow. He was tired after all that. He didn't usually use magic, especially not THIS kind of magic.

He'd lean against one of the more-intact stone walls, closing his eyes. Rather quickly, he'd fall asleep.
