Only for a moment and the moment's gone - Moonsetter - May 16 2025

He had found a bone to gnaw on, something to keep his attention while also giving him an outlet to bite, to crush between his jaws. It was fun, it was amusing and it was suddenly interrupted. He caught the scent of another, too close, too into his business. Little did he know, or care, that they had no intentions of actually bothering him, but they had already done so unintentionally.

He quickly turned and attempted to quickly and effectively electrocute them, but he was too riled out to be able to successfully call upon his abilities. So instead, he relied on good old fashioned tooth and claw. With a growl, he began to tear into them, a violent attack on what he perceived to be a threat.

(too lazy for table again :3 and use correct pronouns, sue me)
Arbor shuffled around the edges, peering past stone rubble at a larger creature. Gnawing on a bone, a pale face swiveled towards him, and in what seemed like seconds, claws were digging into his small frame. It was quick, life draining from him as tooth and claw tore in, and he was gone. Just as quickly as he had come.

He was content. The threat was neutralized and he even got a bonus meal out of it. What more could he ask for really? He was a rather laconic creature and simply let out a deep grumble, not say anything to the dead creature at his paws.

Settling back down, he ate his food in peace, content to lay there all day and nap.
