So give me all the black-brown sticky sugar water - Soh-ling - May 18 2025 So... how long has it been asleep? No. Really. It wanted to know. Alas, it woke up alone, with nobody to tell it the time or otherwise keep it company. Well, there was the great oilstone glyph that whispered soothing chaos into its mind, but if it had to start considering ROCKS as its friends then it was in pretty dire straits. It would languidly stretch, releasing a stream of bubbles as it yawned, before swimming out into the black city. Although it was more akin to a ghost town than a city. Sure, there were plenty of fish, which Soh'ling ate plenty of to sate its hunger- but no sea serpents or valkhounds. The first time it woke up, it had company- Deep-Dark and the great crab Farina. Where were they now? It would be forced to swim up, up, and up some more. Until light filtering through the water forced it to squint. It was much warmer up here than the icy abyss of the black city, and while Soh-ling knew to expect it- it HAD been in the shallows before, and even on land- it was still somewhat of a shock. Finally, it would breach the water entirely, although only the top of its head was above the water. It very much resembling a tangle of kelp with its mottled green coloration and frills. It would bob idly as it watched the shore with its big ol' unblinkingly catlike stare, searching for any sign of life. @Catafay |
