Injury Comparison Thread - Cancer - Aug 31 2015 or "Obligatory "My Owie is better than Your Owie"" So I wanna hear everyone's list of serious injuries! Why? Comparison obviously. Also, lets see who's most accident prone! Here's my long ass list; BONES BROKEN: Metatarsal Bones in Right Foot Sacrum (Tail Bone) Metacarpal Bones (Baby Fingers) (Right twice, left once) Radius and Ulna Bones in Right Forearm Clavicle (Fractured) Other Injuries to Note: Broken Nose (x7) Shattered Ear Lobe, Right Ear Broken Tooth (Right front upper canine) RE: Injury Comparison Thread - Azazel (Original) - Aug 31 2015 One time I got a minor head injury. Mine is paltry compared to yours: - Fractured right middle finger - Ovarian cyst (on right side) -> had to get surgery to get it removed because it was massive, and it took 1/3rd of my ovary with it lol :'( - I have bad knees because ???? I hike too much? who knows RE: Injury Comparison Thread - Louie - Aug 31 2015 My list is pretty small but crazy xD - Suffered a traumatic brain injury with three bleeds mostly on the frontal lobe but also on the right lobe. Was in a coma for over a week where they had to drill a hole in my skull to relieve pressure (they shaved off like half my hair so I looked lopsided for ages) and I can't remember anything for a week after I came out of the coma. Was in rehab for two months to learn to walk and be a normal person again. Didn't help this all occurred in Germany where the language barrier made it harder xD - Shattered my cheek bone in the same accident as well as my foot. Foot wasn't as bad but they let the cheek bone grow back by itself so now my cheek bone is slightly higher on one side compared to the other lmao xD - Stabbed my thumb with a pair of scissors and needed stitches RE: Injury Comparison Thread - Akshayaa - Sep 03 2015 Am I the only one who has like never had a serious injury? XD The only thing I can think of that even remotely counts is that time I slid down a tree trunk and my shirt lifted so I had major scratches on my back from the bark (it was a pepper tree, which has like easy-to-peel, loose bark that sticks out in weird ways). But I didn't have to go to the hospital for that. My mom just cleaned it with alcohol which hurt like hell. RE: Injury Comparison Thread - Game Master CJ - Sep 03 2015 @Akshayaa no man i'm right there with you holy shit what do you guys do you shouldn't even go outside when i was really little i ran with a pen in my mouth even though my mom had just told me not to i tripped on a bump in the carpet and the pen tore open the back of my throat but i didnt want to tell her cause i didnt want to get in trouble, so i tore the pen out and hid it under the chest at the end of the hallway so i got my sister for dinner like nothing happened and i sat down to eat but holy shit my throat hurt (and i was swallowing lots of blood so i felt awful sick) so i was like "ahhh i'm not hungry...." and my mom was like fine, go to bed hungry fucking booked it to my room to lay down because shit was scary my mom came to wake me up the next morning for school and i was 100% blue and purple and my throat/neck was a big balloon. when i got into the ER they jammed a fucking tube straight into my throat to relieve the pressure and give me a way to breathe, because i was 98% almost dead because i had barely been breathing most of the night but that's like.. idk i was a dumb little kid DON'T RUN WITH PENS IN YOUR MOUTH MAN IT'S BAD they said i was lucky also to not get ink poisoning because it had been the writing tip that tore the back of my throat open and the way it hit the ground/shoved into my throat snapped the tip and they could see remnants of ink which basically had a free invitation into my bloodstream when the doctor asked why i didnt tell my mom (she was in tears, she was crying so hard she couldnt ask me herself) i was like, "i didn't want to get in trouble cause i didn't want to get spanked" oh my god my mom flipped her shit "I WAS SO SCARED HOW COULD YOU" i was scared too motherfucker you spanked me like a bitch for every little god damn thing fuck that i only have one ass i have a cool scar from the tube though but it's near the base of my neck now it's the dark dent in-between my collar bones RE: Injury Comparison Thread - Taktuq - Sep 03 2015 When I was like, two, and learning to walk, I rolled in to the cement hearth at my old house and broke my two front baby teeth. They died and hung in my mouth for a few weeks before my mom finally took me in to remove them. I didn't have front teeth until the end of elementary school. :P I fell off the monkey bars at age eight?? and fractured my ankle. At fifteen my brother smashed my bedroom window with a basketball and I was covered in glass, so I have some little scars from that. At seventeen he broke a different window and I got more glass scars. Between twelve and nineteen I had various scars on my arm, but I stopped that, and used bio oil to get rid of everything. Worked like a charm. At 22 I backed up in to the faucet of the bathtub while showering at my SO's house, which cut my back and left a weird unhappy-face scar (like :C but upright). Most of my scars are mental ones, lmao??? >>; RE: Injury Comparison Thread - Akshayaa - Sep 03 2015 Sooo... I realized I do have some scars. I have a bunch of little white dots on the insides of my arms from when I was little and premature and the doctors had to poke me multiple times before finding proper veins at doctor's visits, which I had a lot of because as a baby I was fucked up. Premature, had drugs and alcohol and nicotine in my system from my shitty birth mother. Also, I now have my first acne scar on my face. DDD: I can't stop picking omg... Also adding to my list. :P ow typing RE: Injury Comparison Thread - Farrah - Sep 12 2015 Lets see . . . in no real order - Broke/Hairline crack on right forearm - Snapped left pinkie toe - Ruined knees from: hit by car, bike crash, and more (my knees creak and hurt to bend) - Bitten by dogs, many times - Bitten by cats, many more time - Random scars from wild kid adventures Not much besides that. xD But alot of my new scars are from dogs (no cats) scratching me at work. LOL
