Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Lillith - Sep 01 2015 Lying on the ground underneath a pine tree, laid a hot pink topaz gemstone. The occupant in that little gem was beginning to wake up not knowing what the world looked like from the outside of her gemstone. Moving around the bear cub could tell that her gem was cracking with every kick and nudge. She didnt want to be in the gem anymore. Lillith as she was called let out a little call as she kicked at the bottom of the gem breaking it open. She squirmed out of the gem and the little gembound shook her fur of any liquid and gunk on her. Lillith looked around after awhile and that is when she realized that she was all alone. She let out a call hoping to get anyone that was near by. The outside world was pretty much scary so the little gembound hid back in the tall grass that had been a few inches from where she hatched. @Leon RE: Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Leon - Sep 02 2015 Leon had found the opportunity to slip away from Pisces, though he knew it wouldn't last long - he would be needed back in Maji Walezi again soon, especially with preparations to make. Bevy had tasked the scouts with going out into the caves and relaying information to the other groups, an attempt to organize some kind of effort against the wicked dragon in Polaris. Thats what he was here for, to try and find the group rumored to have spawned here. It was a given that Gembounds lived here, but Leon had heard of the massive sea monster that lives in the swamp - and that it had something to do with the group. Other than that, Leon was clueless. That was why he was hoping to use this opportunity to meet with them. Of course, there would always be something to throw a wrench in his plans. Moving through the tall grasses, he was alerted to the presence of another when they called out. Curious, Leon quickened his pace, following what sounded like a cry for help. He waded through the tall grass, but couldn't spot the creature that had made the sound. There was an instinct in him to find and help - but first, he had to find. "Hello? Is anybody here?" The bear called out, rising up onto his hind legs. RE: Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Lillith - Sep 02 2015 The little white Grizzly heard someone's voice and she slowly stood up and looked around. She wasnt afraid, she just wasnt sure of who to trust. Lillith didnt like the idea that she had emerged alone and in a dark place. She called out again and came out of the long grass some. Looking around, she watched for someone to show up. Lillith just hoped that whoever came wouldnt be mean and attack her. "Hello? Anyone out there? I am only a baby. I just emerged from my Chrysalis. Please dont hurt me. My name is Lillith." she shouted hoping that whoever it was would find her. The dark green and brown with some white and greys among it was scary and it felt unsafe. RE: Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Leon - Sep 02 2015 Scanning the grass that wavered all around him, tall and dark and foreboding in the misty forest, Leon had just barely caught sight of a small white head poking up over the fronds. He zeroed in on the little cub, watching as she quickly fell back beneath the grasses. Then, a voice rang into the air, small and innocent and frightened. Parental instincts kicked into overdrive and Leon charged forward, making a beeline for the little cub. He didn't even think about how his approach could have sounded scary, only that once he finally reached her, he burst through the grass with wide-eyes scanning for any potential danger. "ARE YOU OKAY?? WHO'S GONNA HURT YOU? I'LL TEAR 'EM A NEW ONE!" The bear puffed up, fervently glancing around in search of the potential threat to the little bear cub. RE: Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Lillith - Sep 02 2015 The little white cub saw a brown bear like her only bigger come into view. He had seen her and she ducked down scared that he would hurt her. Lillith could see him and she watched him come charging towards her which frightened her at first until he came to a stop near her. He looked around asking who was going to hurt her and that he would rip them a new one. The little new gembound couldnt help but laugh. The big bear had thought she was endanger and that someone was going to hurt her when it was really the big gembound who she had heard call out to her. She didnt know that he was friendly or not but now Lillith could see that he was. "No one is going to hurt me, Mr. Bear. I just emerged and I noticed that I was alone in these wilderness alone and it was scary. I am in no danger." she said looking up at the big guy. She stood on her hind legs and then sat down on her rump waiting to see what the big gembound would do next. "I woke up alone with no one there...no parents or siblings. But I ams tough." she said. RE: Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Leon - Sep 03 2015 Unfortunately, it seemed the fearsome display Leon had drummed up was all for naught. Or maybe it wasn't so unfortunate after all - the bear took a glance around and found no immediate threat to the child, and even though her small laugh had spawned some kind of slight paranoia, he was quickly reassured when she began to explain that she had recently emerged out here all alone. She was frightened by the swamp, the massive room that encased it that was often dark and misty. The bear furrowed his brow slightly and took another look around. Yeah, he supposed it could be construed as being a little creepy. Orange eyes shifted back to her, watching her sit down upon tearing that she was tough. More so, she announced she had hatched with no parents or siblings. What a strange observation to make for a child. "Nobody really does," He said first, blinking at her. "well, most of us don't, at least. You don't have to be afraid though. I can protect you from the big scary things that lurk in the swamp." The bear added with a huff, leaning back onto his rump and smiling brightly. Even if he didn't have to defend her from anything, Leon couldn't deny the protective instinct that came over him at the sight of the bear cub. It had been the same with Grimmloch - and he imagined it was the same for Makyna with other lions. "My name's Leon. What's yours?" RE: Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Lillith - Sep 03 2015 Lillith listened to him say that not all gembounds were created by parents. That gave the little gembound some reassurance knowing that she was created but without parents to do it. I see...well maybe that was a good thing, yes? I mean, then my parents wouldnt let me do anything probably." she said. The young girl didnt know if that was true or not but that didnt bother Lillith. "My name ish Lillith but you can call me Lilli. Its nice to meet you, Leon." she said. He offered to protect her from places like this and she couldnt help but smile. Leon was being like a brother or father would to a child to the gembound. "I would like that, Leon. I dont like being alone. I dont know much about hunting or fighting or anything like that. You are like me, yes?" She asked. The cub cub stood on all fours and nuzzle nose and head into Leon's side in a friendly way. She didnt want enemies nor did she want to stay in Cetus anymore. She wanted to go home or go wherever Leon lived. She didnt care where they went as long as it was away from Cetus. A new gembound such as Lillith shouldnt have hatched here. Not even the bad ones should hatch here. The gembound wondered if there were anymore bears out there and if any of them were like Lillith. RE: Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Leon - Sep 04 2015 Strange, she spoke with all the wisdom of a Gembound who'd lived in the caves just as long as he had. But she was small and most certainly a child - then again, he'd met freshly hatched Gembounds who could speak and form coherent thoughts. For a second, he found himself doubting his intelligence level. Maybe Makyna was just happy doing the thinking for both of them. He shoved those thoughts away and turned his attention back to the bear cub, uttering a small laugh at her quip about parents. She still had the speech impairment of a child, so that was reassuring at least. "It's nice to meet you too, Lilli." He added, leaning back on his haunches. "I can't imagine anybody would really like being alone, but you're right. You are like me!" The bear chuckled again. She approached and Leon held his ground, grinning widely as she nuzzled her face into his side. "I can teach you all about fighting and hunting. Ah - my fiance probably could too! I think you'd like her, her name is Makyna." The bear added with a chuckle. He rose to his paws again and turned, beginning to walk back in the direction from which he'd come. But... he still needed to find the group that lived here. Leon paused for a second, thoughtful. "If you stick by me, you can learn all about the caves and who lives here. Actually, I came here on Serious Political Business - would you like to come with me to meet with the group that lives here in Cetus?" He asked, hoping he could kill two birds with one stone on this trip to the swampy room. RE: Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Lillith - Sep 05 2015 Lillith listened to the big talk about his fiancee and how he and his fiancee could teach her to fight and hunting. If she had a long tail it would wag but she didnt. Her tail laid flat against her rump and didnt move. "I would like it if you teached me about hunting fighting annd what not. I need to learn things and i would love to meet you Fiancee. She sounds nice and very sweet caring. Is she like you and I?" she asked. Leon got up and started walking away. She watched him stop and asked if she wanted to come with him to find a group. The cub didnt want to stay in these woods alone so the little gembound decided to go with him and learn things from him and his fiancee. "Of course I will go with you to find this groups. I dont want to stay out here alone. Someone might try and eat me. I rather have a home than be eaten." she said. Smiling she ran towards him only to trip over her own paws. Lilli landed on her face and stomach. She stood up and shook her fur free of the dirt. RE: Little Bear Big Heart(Leon and Lillith) - Leon - Sep 05 2015 At the young bear's question regarding his fiance, the bear took on a rosy shade beneath his fur - it wasn't visible thankfully, but he couldn't help the delight spawned in him at any mention of his beloved. "She's... Well, she's not a bear like us. She's a lion. A little bit smaller than me, still a lot bigger than you." He laughed. "But she's very kind and soft, she loves little ones. You'd like her I think." The bear nodded. Within a few more strides, they were ok their way through the tall grass and towards the heart of the marsh. He glanced back at Lillith as she agreed to accompany him, only to trip over her paws. Leon let loose a small laugh, though tried to stifle it in case she'd gotten hurt. He lingered back a bit, looking her over. "You alright?" The bear rumbled. Once she had gotten up and shaken the dirt out of her fur, he continued on a little ways more. Leon didn't know how he'd summon these rumored swamp Gembounds, but he supposed the easiest way would be to make a lot of noise. The bear stopped and rose to his hind legs, cranking open his jaw to emit the thunderous bellow of a bear's roar, calling forth anybody nearby. @Dragon @Willow @Eve @Talat @Czernobog |
