Let There Be Shadows RP | Every Shadow Is Hiding Something. - Origin Guest - Oct 16 2026 HOME ✦ MAIN PLOT ✦ INVITE CHAOS & SHADOW ✦ ADVERTISE WELCOME TO EVERMORE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Evermore is a small supernatural town tucked between mountains, forests and dark waters—a place built in the shadow of a past that refuses to stay buried. Manson fell. Evermore rose. Now witches, vampires, werewolves, fae, gifted humans and countless other supernatural beings have made lives here while the mysteries of Manson, the missing, and the strange town they call home continue to unfold. Create friendships. Fall in love. Make enemies. Build families. Start businesses. Attend Evermore University. Get into trouble in Ravenport. Dig into old mysteries—or create stories that have absolutely nothing to do with them. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ YOUR CHARACTER. YOUR STORY. YOUR PATH THROUGH THE SHADOWS. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ A PLACE FOR WRITERS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Let There Be Shadows is an inclusive, welcoming roleplay community where different people, characters, identities, writing styles and experience levels are welcome. New to roleplaying? Experienced writer? Returning after years away? There's room for your story here. We want our community to be a safe, respectful place to create together, meet other writers and enjoy the wonderfully strange characters we invent. NEW & EXPERIENCED WRITERS ✦ LGBTQIA+ FRIENDLY DIVERSE CHARACTERS ✦ ORIGINAL LORE ✦ CREATIVE FREEDOM AND THEN THERE'S CHAOS & SHADOW... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Two staff-controlled Chaos Agents lurk around the forum waiting for someone to make the questionable decision of inviting them into a thread. Add [C] to your thread title and Chaos, Shadow, or both may appear with an unexpected twist—an accident, mystery, supernatural disturbance, sudden complication, strange emotion, clue, disaster, or something else entirely. The feature is completely optional. You can opt in by adding [C], opt out by removing it, or never use it at all. You always remain in control of your own character. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CHAOS: Your plot looks comfortable. SHADOW: Perhaps a little too comfortable. CHAOS: Put a [C] on it. SHADOW: We dare you. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ COME FIND YOUR PLACE IN EVERMORE.
