Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Sabor - Sep 16 2015 He was a child, stuck inside the bright and shiny world of his chrysalis. Warm and content but with a fire burning in his belly. He just wanted to get more out of life! To see what else was in store for him! To stay here and float through endless time was close to torture! But, now that he thought about it. This wasn't such a bad thing. He had no real desires other than to explore? He pondered on that. Did he want to know more about life? The reason why he was here in this fluid filled world. Maybe he really wanted to understand who or even what exactly he was? He would remain here, just a little while longer. He could hear the loud humming of life that burst throughout his small being.
RE: Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Tolani - Sep 16 2015 Sluggish shifting, small paws running through the short fur of her stomach. A golden eye cracked open, peering up intently at the dancing colors of blues and browns above her, holding her in a comfortable and familiar embrace. As she shifted, so too did the chrysalis, creating colorful swirls across her vision as her heart beat softly in her ears. She had no desire to leave the familiar safety of her home, she was content to remain in her chrysalis. Simply listening to the sounds of bugs darting past her home, and the faint shifting of foliage around her.
RE: Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Sabor - Sep 16 2015 Heart racing he woke with a stir. It was time, the deep thumping of his heart prepared of new and waited spoils. He could feel it, the hot sensation burning through his veins. It spoke loud and clear to him now. That instinct, that is what it had to be. This thing that had been speaking to him, preparing him for this moment. It ran through his being, he grew hot and impatient now. Eyes shooting open he pushed against the very walls that had kept him safe. It was time! The king would emerge now! To see reign over his new kingdom! That is what if said, that is what it promised!
RE: Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Tolani - Sep 16 2015 Ears twitched and her gaze subconsciously shifted around her, hearing a rather displeased 'rowr' echo through the sides of her chrysalis. Slowly, the cub shifted to turn her head as far as the familiar walls allowed, faint images of the surrounding foliage flooding through her mind, staining the insides of the chrysalis green with the images with an unamused huff from her throat. Something was too close to her home, to her safety! Annoyance fluttered faintly through her mind, though was short lived as she turned her attention back to the walls around her, experimentally nudging her paw against the smooth surface once more with a low, curious rumble rising faintly in her throat as she watched the colors ripple once more over her.
RE: Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Sabor - Sep 16 2015 Did he fall asleep? He was tired, especially being frustrated would do that to a young cub such as he. It didn't matter, he was awake now. Eyes fluttering open he could barely move around, this wasn't the same as it was last time. The confines of this chrysalis seemed to shrink with each passing second. That voice once again spoke to him, reassuring him that now was the time to break out. To break free and see the spoils of the land that belonged to the new king. A smile grew to his face, images flashing through his young ample mind. Babbling brooks and foliage that was yet unseen through this diamond walls! With a deep inhale he readied himself. Craning his posture to hit the same region as before. He could do this, he must. The land was waiting for it new king! It's only king he mused sternly. He couldn't keep the world waiting much longer! It was probably growing impatient as well! A swift smack, nothing happened. His tail flickered beneath his furiously. A rumble grew in his throat, he would flail at this wall. For what seemed like ages to his small being. Exhausting himself till he ached with all the energy he was expended foolishly. Maybe, he wasn't meant to be king. RE: Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Sabor - Sep 16 2015 Lips curled and tail flicking violently to and fro, he lay there within the diamond prison. Yes, this place wasn't a home any longer he mused. It was a curse! A foul trick on those who were birthed of royal blood and his prestige. He was in a diamond for crying out loud! Fate had to be working against him! To expect such a small creature to break through this!? He was crammed now, and his temperature beyond sizzling. And just before he could think it couldn't get any worse. It spoke to him. Screaming at the young cub as if this was the final countdown.
RE: Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Tolani - Sep 16 2015 The cub twisted around as much as she could in the confines of the Chrysalis, her single golden eye widening as her ears twitched, hearing the yowl that was much too close to her safe place for her liking. Her heart rate sped up, thundering in her ears as her instincts told her to get out of the chrysalis, that she wouldn't be safe in it for much longer. Her attention shifted around the surface of the multicolored shell. Fear rushed through her system as the feeling of being constricted pushed against her sides, squeezing at her ribs and making it feel hard for her to breathe.
RE: Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Sabor - Sep 16 2015 The satisfying sound of the diamond shell crackling under his claws had him curl his lips upward. What a divine moment this was, to be free, to finally be a true king! Only little did he know, that he really wasn't. He was just a cub, one somewhere in the underbrush of a great big place called Eridanus. He would come to learn about that later though.
RE: Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Tolani - Sep 16 2015 She allowed herself to glance over her surroundings, feeling familiar with the ferns that covered what had once been her home, the images that had flashed through her mind. Sitting back on her haunches, the bear cub swatted curiously at the shards of her chrysalis that had come with her, either caught in the short fur of her shoulders during impact, or simply being dragged along by one of her paws. Regardless, there were still shards, and they were hers after all.
RE: Autumn Time Is Hatching Time - Sabor - Sep 16 2015 It had all moved so fast! Leaping through the bushes and tackling down the fearful stranger with NO sense of self preservation. Only the sound of a startled scream alerted him of a direct hit! What was this cub thinking!? The answer was, he wasn't. He was young, so luckily it would slide this time. But before he could bring back his visual senses it had went dark. The light from before, it had vanished! And the someone new, they had escaped his grasp! What kind of trickery was this!? Magic it said, magic was at play here. They had taken his light, the kings light. Well that wasn't fair! They had to give it back, you cant just go taking light away! Though in retrospect you cant just go around tackling other people you don't know. But that was besides the point! It told him to focus, to call up the very power flowing richly through his royal veins. A smile curled his lips, he would find this fearful someone new. He would show them what he could do! You can take away a kings light! But you could never take away their will to fight! Bright golden eyes seemed to pulsate to that of his heart beat. Shimmering like lots jewels in the current surroundings. He could see them now. They were, like him? Small and new to this world? A few shards of their chrysalis still hanging from their dark fur. All desire to show this, bear; who was the boss had faded. |
