A Gift fit for a King - Eve - Sep 20 2015 The crow flew through Cetus with the glowing bone held tightly in her talons. She half-landed half-tumbled to the ground in front of the lake that Aquarian was nestled in. It was quiet, except for the sound of rushing water. She stepped off the bone, nestling behind it. She looked out across the water briefly before she lifted her beak and began screeching out to the marsh. The crow herself wasn't sure if it would even reach the sea-monster's ears, but it was worth a try. RE: A Gift fit for a King - Game Master Madison - Sep 23 2015 (Quality post incoming) Several minutes following the crow's screeching, the surface of the water suddenly rippled. A massive, reptilian head crested the surface, tall yellow fins piercing the air. The beast hovered towards the bird, nictitating membrane protecting its eyes slowly peeling open. Animal eyes locked on the bird as the serpent pushed towards her, chattering curiously. RE: A Gift fit for a King - Eve - Sep 23 2015 "Hello," the crow croaked. She nudged the glowing bone forward. "A gift," she added, nestling down and staring up at Aquarian. She waited for the sea dragon to take interest in the bone before she continued. "Dragon's hurt in Polaris. He mentioned something-- something you said, about a Nemean. A cat with wings, something like that? She announced herself as that," the crow tilted her head, speaking relatively quietly for whatever reason. It still hurt, not being able to help any of the children. She had wanted to stay with Dragon until the alligator barked at her to go find Aquarian. It didn't matter, much, seeing as she still had to give him the glowing bone, but the insults Dragon threw at her were highly unnecessary. |
