Firefly (Graham) - Asurai - Sep 26 2015
@Graham RE: Firefly (Graham) - Graham - Sep 27 2015 Graham had taken to exploring, although he had never gone this far before. His over sized paws made him clumsy, and he liked knowing that he was near a place where he knew what there was to trip over. Unfortunately, this room he had found was quite the opposite. It was so filled with fog that the pup could barely see where he was putting his paws down, and he stepped gingerly, careful he wasn't about to step into a huge hole or lake or something. The St. Bernard puppy's vision might have been affected by this, but his nose still worked fantastically (although the fog complicated things here as well) and so did his ears, which perked a bit at the sound of a voice. His tail began wagging - a new friend, perhaps? He didn't have too much understanding of the word friend - he had met but one creature before and friend was...not the right word for her, but it felt right. The thought excited him. "Hi!" He barked, his paws moving a bit quicker in the direction of the voice. "Who're you?" He made his way to the other figure and plopped down on his own rump, tail still wagging wildly against the ground. RE: Firefly (Graham) - Asurai - Sep 28 2015
RE: Firefly (Graham) - Graham - Sep 28 2015 The difference in their demeanor was obvious. Graham didn't understand why she looked so...deflated. He wasn't going to do anything mean to her! This confused him, because he couldn't imagine why someone wouldn't want to be friendly and best friends. At least she didn't seem like a totally unpleasant creature. He wondered what she was - she was thinner in build than he was. "I'm Graham. Are you scared of the weird air? It sure seems mad, huh?" How air could be mad he didn't know, but it was the best way he had of describing the fog. It was like a moping child. RE: Firefly (Graham) - Asurai - Sep 28 2015
RE: Firefly (Graham) - Graham - Oct 01 2015 Used to it? Did she live here? That was kind of cool - Graham wasn't sure if he liked it enough to stay here for long periods of time. The air made his thick fur feel weird, and he was a little creeped out by the atmosphere in general. "Huh? Why?" Graham wasn't sure why he should worry about this wolf, but to just not care...That wasn't in his nature. He decided the best thing would be to befriend her - after all, friends were what made you feel better, right? And she seemed like she needed that! "Do you wanna play a game?" He asked, tail wagging again. It had stilled in concern, but he was too happy of a creature for it to stay that way long. He'd never really gotten to play before, either, so the thought was exciting to him. Glancing around for ideas on what to play, he spied a weird light in the fog. It flickered, bobbing weirdly in the air. It was a firefly, but the pup had no words for that and no idea what one was. "Let's see who can catch that blinky light thing first!" @asurai RE: Firefly (Graham) - Asurai - Oct 02 2015
@Graham RE: Firefly (Graham) - Graham - Oct 04 2015 Graham's head tilted to the side in confusion. What did she mean? How could she possibly ruin his fun? Her not playing with him...now that would ruin his fun! He didn't want to play alone. How could that possibly be a good time? "I'm sure you won't ruin my fun. I want to play with you, not by myself." He paused as she went on, getting more philosophical than he could really comprehend, "Idunno, but we're all here. There's gotta be a reason why. Like maybe it's just to make someone smile, or help someone out." This was too deep for him, and he really just wanted to play. The firefly flickered closer to them, and Graham instinctively dropped into a play-bow. "Please, play with me? Two of us can catch it way better than just one." |
