Open Arms - Carrie - Dec 05 2015
@Hasira RE: Open Arms - Hasira - Dec 05 2015 The stag was grazing in Orion in a moment of peace... or so it seemed. His head and ears lifted when he heard the sound of his name being called. Those great antlers, the broken one healed with ice, turned towards the Carrie as he watched her approach. What on earth could she possibly want? Had something happened? He looked around, expecting carnivores to be following her at full tilt but that was not true. She was all alone. A curious site. "Carrie? What ever is the matter?" He stepped towards her with eyes that shone with a false concern. He only really cared if it had something to do with him or the carnivores. This creature had hardly proven to be of any use especially after she had wandered away. What could she possibly need?

@Hasira RE: Open Arms - Hasira - Dec 05 2015 The capybara came right up to him, eyes filled with tears as she admitted her wrongs to him. Well of course she didn't know better than him. He was the Lord and he knew best for all of them. The dictator knew about her leaving and he knew that she would run into trouble as they all would if they left without the proper training. He would sooner trust his twins out in the caves rather than this accident prone creature. However, he didn't say this out loud. He simply gave a reassuring smile as he looked down at her. "Shhh, it is okay. It is simply in your nature to think such things. You are a pure and beautiful herbivore, after all." They all thought in such naive ways... it was why they were all fools. He reached his nose forward and gently rubbed it against her own, right on the gem. His touch hopefully would calm her down, placate her... because another idea had popped into his head. He had previously made a new creature with Clover... A Tainted One it would certainly be. However, Tainted as the child would be it would still be perfection. However, Carrie was a new pure one wasn't she? Sure she was not a deer and as such not as noble as he, his Shadow, or his growing child... But perhaps his genes would take over and make something that was decent. The worst case scenario would be that it was a disgusting mutt and he'd use it as fodder in the upcoming war. "There is nothing to forgive, pretty one. You have seen the error of your ways and you have come back to me." He smiled down, looking into her eyes. Now, he stood up to his full height eyes still remaining on her as he considered everything over again. Hmm... What would a child between them look like?

RE: Open Arms - Hasira - Dec 05 2015 The stag nodded his head, seemingly understanding everything she was saying. Th perfect actor. "Yes, yes. I understand. You must have been absolutely terrified. Just remember, you must always listen to me. After all, the Lord knows best." A famous saying, or one that he liked to think was famous. For all of their lives he did know best and she had learned that. "You must never run away again, my dear... Next time you might not get off as well." There was no hint of threat in his honeyed tones but the words could be taken that way. Or could they just mean a predator would grab her? You never knew when Hasira was trying to bait his little ducklings. Now he turned his head towards the throne and wandered over, eyes locked onto the stone there. Wynry's stone. He wanted to bring it back to life. He would bring it back to life. "My dear Carrie, have you ever thought about children before?" He was being blunt but he had seen her calm nature. She was no fighter, she was a nurturer. The stag's mouth closed over the stone as he picked it up gently before depositing it on the ground in front of his hooves. He beckoned Carrie closer with a gesture of his antlers. He was feeling indulgent today. He had to if he was going to be using the capybara for what she had.

@Hasira RE: Open Arms - Hasira - Dec 05 2015 The dictator who behaved so like a father at times watched her indulgently as she approached. The stag hadn't considered it much but the capybara had been frozen as a child and thus hadn't had a chance to mature. In her mind she was a kid but her body was that of an adult. A peculiar thing but one he could use to his advantage. "Of course, of course! It is a terrible shame what happened to you." He nodded his head sympathetically at her, slate eyes softening. "The twins are cute children and yes, being called Auntie is a fine thing. However, haven't you wondered at all about being called... 'Mother'?" He paused to let the thought sink in before continuing. "I think it would be a fine thing. You would have a child as gorgeous as yourself and they would look up to you with wonder in their eyes. You could raise them here around family where they would be loved." The stag lowered his nose to touch the stone at his hooves. "I plan to bring this one back... He was... My brother... but was cruelly taken away by carnivores. I plan to make him hole again, it will not quite be the same but it shall be close enough! We could create new life together..." He leaned down to touch his nose to hers again, to stop her heart and make her agree to his offer with his light pressure.

RE: Open Arms - Hasira - Dec 05 2015 The stag nodded his head, yes of course with her. He wanted to see the results of a breeding between them. He wanted to see if his superior deer heritage would take over or if there would be some sort of mix. A mutt... The thought didn't thrill him but surely the rules were different with herbivores, right? It was easy to trick himself into thinking so. "Thank you. You are a truly loyal family member and I will remember this." With that he lifted his head and began to nose at the gem on his chest. A surge of magick was what he felt as he chipped away a piece of the stone. The clear crystal fell to the ground next to Wynry's moonstone. To set an example the stag dipped his head and touched the moonstone with his nose, then he breathed into it. There seemed to be some sort of spark in the stone as he lifted his head. It wouldn't quite be the same but whatever child came he would embrace it just as he had done Wynry but he wouldn't fail this time. He would raise it as it should be raised. With a hatred for carnivores... That would give him a better chance in the world. "Now, you try, my dear." After he proceeded to give life he felt... something. A lightheaded-ness that overcame him and he began to sway on his hooves. He felt a moment of giddy exhilaration as he looked down at Carrie. For a moment her strange little rodent face seemed to morph and change into something like... a deer. Why... She was gorgeous! He shook his head, eyes blinking down at her as he grinned sincerely. "Carrie, my beautiful one, I cannot wait for your child to be born. I imagine that they'll be as gorgeous as you... beautiful... stunning." He folded his legs and lay down before her, head extending as he stared into her eyes. Why, if he let his mind slip enough he could almost imagine her as being... Clover...
