An Ocean of Trust - Eve - Dec 06 2015
@Ghanyarah RE: An Ocean of Trust - Ghanyarah - Dec 06 2015 Ghanyarah had to admit that he was a little bit excited about exploring the caves with Eve. That troublesome nature of his brewed just underneath the surface, remembering his brief exploit of Canis. He had tried to freeze the bone room over, though really it had ended in mass confusion among the Bonebound. Still, Ghanyarah tried to think that he had succeeded in causing at least a little bit of chaos, so his job was done. Then he wondered if they would remember him if he showed his face in Canis again. It wasn't that the komodo was afraid of returning there and facing them - he wasn't, if they decided to pick a fight with him then he would fight - he was more curious. And, well, a little concerned for Eve. He didn't want to drag her into his affairs. They reached Pisces before long, the black bird illuminating the way through the mist. Here, Ghanyarah was beginning to feel at home again. He loved the heat and the humidity of Cetus, but it was just that - the swamp tended to run at a higher temperature, even with the cold setting in and the snowflakes that seemed to drift all around them. This room was cooler and even wetter, casting a layer of moisture over his thick hide. It slowed his muscles, but that had since become less an issue and more a small inconvenience, if that. "Ready!" The reptile answered, scuttling up closer to Eve and stepping into the waterfall room. The room opened up to them, revealing multitudes of cascades that rained down from the walls, filling the air with cold fog. Ghanyarah raised his head and flicked his tongue, peering about. At least he'd have some landmarks to draw in the Pisces circle on the map, now. "Does the water bog you down?" He asked as he moved into the room, stifling with the stench of mammals, and glanced over at Eve. Would her feathers grow heavy from the mist? @Eve RE: An Ocean of Trust - Eve - Dec 06 2015
@Ghanyarah RE: An Ocean of Trust - Ghanyarah - Dec 06 2015 When the crow landed on his head, Ghanyarah bobbed it briefly, then lifted it again to accommodate the bird's weight (which really wasn't much). He peered around the room and there were a few landmarks that he knew he could add, but he doubted that he would be able to remember them. Hmm... wasn't there anything he could draw on? The komodo narrowed his eyes and looked as Eve speculated on the inhabitants of this room. "I remember the bear. And the lioness. The bird." Leon, Makyna, Bevy. Who else had been there? The lioness and the bird hadn't joined in the fight, Ghanyarah only remembered seeing them after the fight as he returned to Cetus. "There was a black leopard. A jaguar. And us." Did they all live here? He scampered up after the bird as she made her way to the lagoon, reaching the edge by the time she had hopped back onto his head. "I need something to draw on so I can keep track of the landmarks." Ghanyarah added, stretching his neck over to meet his reflection in the lagoon. It was... very tempting to go for a swim. He idly wondered how the cold, clear water would feel on his hide. Certainly a lot fresher than the murk of Cetus. ...No, now wasn't the time for a swim. He sat back again and cast his gaze over the room, thinking. @Eve RE: An Ocean of Trust - Eve - Dec 09 2015
