Over the Wall - Isi - Dec 09 2015

Listen to me + Hear my thoughts

It was nice to be with her father again - even if he were a dead man walking. She was fairly sure he thought she were dead anyway, so it didn't matter. The white stag made her way down the cold tunnel and into Polaris. She hadn't been here before, but she knew everything would be okay with her dad here.

Isi turned her head down the tunnel, bleating. "Dad?"

She turned and looked down the tunnel, waiting for the sight of the black boar coming down the tunnel. Occasionally, she continued to bleat the same word until he came into view, but for now she lay down with her legs under her, ears flickering briefly.

Away. He needed to get away from Cetus, if only for a little while, away from the itchy feeling of being watched, away from his complete and utter inability to track Cayenne back down. Leaving the swamp felt like a betrayal, but then again, it didn't feel much like home anymore. He had one home, and one home only - and it was trotting ahead of him, calling out his given title in impatience. "Cooooooooming," Czernobog bellowed back, ears flicking and tail wagging just a bit. Even in his depleted state, walk more of a shamble than anything, hole in his chest still stubbornly refusing to fuse shut, Isi could brighten his demeanor in about a millisecond. Kids did that kind of thing.

He rounded the bend with shuddering breaths and the heavy stomp of hooves, blinking as Polaris came into view. He snuffled - but if the other white baby was around, she wasn't near; her scent was faint at best. "Baaaaaaby," was rumbled at the deer ahead, a massive black snout pushed at her shoulder in some sort of assurance. Then he waited.

He'd never really been the "exploring" type.
