This conception was Successful! The litter will emerge January 25th.

NUMBER ONE
Child Name: Up to Adopter
Gender: Up to Adopter
Species: Hybrid (Hooded Pitohui x Cerberos)
Appearance: Appearing like a bird and a snake had some horrifying child, this creature will grow to be nearly ten feet long. It has two sets of bright red eyes and is covered in downy feathers making up a pinkish white head and dark crimson body halfway down its snaking body. The rest of its tail is covered in white and grey scales. It has two sets of wings, a larger pair closer to its head and a smaller at the mid way point. The bottom part of its beak is made of an ammolite stone.
Element: Energy
Stone: Ammolite

NUMBER TWO
Child Name: Up to Adopter
Gender: Up to Adopter
Species: Hybrid (Hooded Pitohui x Cerberos)
Appearance: This one looks the most like its parents, with a flexible doggish frame but limb structure similar to a bird. It will grow to be the size of an average doberman. Its torso is mainly composed of a dark, red-brown coat of fur that turns into similar colored feathers by its hind end. It has a doberman like head with striking red markings and no eyes, and a long neck with a beak jutting out of its throat. Its forelimbs are raptor like wings, while its hind legs sport a strange hybridization of chicken feet and canine paws. Its tail is actually the front half of a snake, with a face plate mate of ammolite stone. The hybrid is blind, although it has the capability of sensing heat signatures through its tail.
Element: Energy
Stone: Ammolite

NUMBER THREE
Child Name: Up to Adopter
Gender: Up to Adopter
Species: Hybrid (Hooded Pitohui x Cerberos)
Appearance: Lastly, this hybrid appears in both size and shape like a polar bear for the most part. It has stark white fur and a dark grey belly, with a massive set of forepaws. It also has two pairs of deep red eyes, and a crown of crimson feathers upon its head. Towards its hind end is where there are problems: This massive creature has no hind legs, and in their place are useless wings that will never grow large enough to support the weight of this creature. It also has a long, sweeping fluffy tail tipped dark grey. Its ammolite stone is placed just behind its shoulders, a massive protruding spike.
Element: Energy
Stone: Ammolite

Kerberos will not be able to conceive again until April 25th.

LET ME GUESS.... You want one of these badboys?

For anyone who wants a Kevy baby, please post bellow (or pm my Game Master account) the following:

— The baby you want. Refer to them by number (#1-3) and give them a name.
— Post a description of their personality (at least 200 words).
— Write a roleplaying sample written from the perspective of the baby you're adopting.

Quality over quantity, here. You can write the rp sample from any age, so if you want to explore what they might be like at four cycles or just hatching, feel free.

If you don't want a baby, or just want to be helpful, feel free to suggest names for them regardless. Important things to note:

Number 1 and 2 will be hatching together in Pisces.
Number 3 will be hatching in Canis.

The deadline for these babies is 12PM EST ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 24TH. Please please please get your submission in on time! I will message people by 6PM EST with who gets who, and those who adopt these babies will be required to make the babies and post hatching threads by the 31st of January (two sundays from now).

If the accounts aren't made, I'll hand them off to another member-- if the accounts are made and accepted by the 31st but you can't post a hatching thread, don't worry, just let me know. <3 I'm actually very lienant when it comes to this stuff, I just want to make sure all the babies are poppin' out already because I want to see them come to life after waiting two whole months for them ahaha... hahaha.... hahaha >:3

#3

Personality:
This large creature is indeed a very gentle giant, at least initially. He can care very deeply with every ounce of his large, sluggish body. Unfortunately, he is quick to anger depending on certain triggers. With eyes too sensitive for a lot of light, he prefers places that are dim or not well lit. With a thick coat, he also tends to venture within cooler regions, preferring it over the feeling of heat. Unsurprisingly, he finds some freedom in waters deep enough to swim or tread in, as his lack of hind legs becomes an advantage.

Another flaw of this odd beast is his hearing. With no ears, he is unable to capture sound, but he does have the proper parts to receive vibrations. Louder vibrations in the air are easier for him to hear. High pitch noises fail to hurt his head, but he does find them really, really annoying, which is - you guessed it - a trigger of his rage. It's also highly recommended to not mock his lack of hind legs, as his front legs are perfectly capable of reaching out and slapping you with claws.

In the end, however, he is a loving, family-oriented gentleman who wants nothing more than comfort and happiness for himself and his family, however such is achieved. He is like a leaf in the wind; he does what he must to preserve the life of himself and his loved ones.

Sample:
It was a time where most slept. The darkness of his corner within Canis covered him like a cool, much-needed blanket. Within his chrysalis, he writhed around, feeling cramped in the tight space. Instinct began to take hold. Useya clawed at the wall between him and the outside world. With some effort, he felt it give, and a shocking amount of light poured in, attacking his sensitive eyes. He squeezed them shut, then growled as he heaved his body from one side to the other.

A loud thud, along with lots of crackling, was followed by the birth of a large, white, furred and feathered beast. He pulled himself up, the slim of his chrysalis trailing behind him as he slowly crawled along, blinking repeatedly in effort to find his sight. With time, he found his vision clearing, but still felt the room was too bright. He shook his head, then sniffed the air, finding the stench of damp rock, dust, bone, and... water. The smell of water attracted him like a moth to a light. He followed his nose to the shallow liquid, the way it felt in his fur and feathers was relaxing.

With a loud snort, he flopped over to his side and rolled in the water, tail flailing as the muscles within helped push him around. He was now thoroughly soaked; just the way he liked it, it seemed.

Synchónefsi Polloí to myaló
Amalgamation the Many-Minded

———

“ Appearing like a bird and a snake had some horrifying child, this creature will grow to be nearly ten feet long. ”

———

Synchónefsi is the vessel of many creatures occupying one mindspace. The cores will consist of Midén, Enas, and Dyo—Zero, One, and Two. Midén often is at the forefront and is the one "steering the ship", but of course, this may change as internal conflicts spark and more headmates begin to develop. At first, however, the only headmate of Synchónefsi will be Midén. In a few day's time, Enas and Dyo will stem off the base and become a part of the system. While he is the only one, Midén will introduce himself as Synchónefsi. The Polloí to myaló will be added later as the system develops.

Midén is a quiet and inquisitive creature. He often steers Synchónefsi towards observing and watching in silence. He does not speak often, for he chooses his words carefully. When he does speak, the voice he uses is airy and light, almost like the sound of an ocarina. This creature is usually at the helm of the ship and steers with a strong hand, for he is just as dominant as he is curious. Sometimes, he allow the others to take the wheel, and other times, he must be overtaken with force.

Enas is loud and assertive. She speaks in a very loud and raucous tone, akin to a corvid's loud cawing. She doesn't think about what she says and often blurts out important information when Midén, even Dyo, does not believe is a good time. However her assertive and loud personality, she's very weak and rarely gets to stand at the front for too long, due to her low mental strength. If you wish to interrogate the system that is Synchónefsi, you better make sure you catch Enas at the front.

Dyo is friendly and a pacifist. They would much rather be out making friends and being a pacifist than yelling at people or stalking them! Dyo is the reason that Synchónefsi does not fight anyone and sits awkwardly in the middle of a battle, unwilling to fight back. In the rare occasions that they are upset at their headmates, they will take the wheel and drive it right towards friendship is magic. They'd fit right into My Little Pony, if that was a real thing. No matter what, though, they love her headmates dearly and equally, as well as all of their friends. When she speaks, she has a voice of a song, always chirping and singing a sweet little tune.

———

Nestled atop a stony precipice, whose peak was so high that it almost touched one of the light bulbs, was Synchónefsi. The system was sunning itself, gathering warmth to withhold in their thick plumage for later. Just a few days ago, the hybrid had emerged, and they were already independent... well, at least Midén was. 'We have no need for anyone,' he'd constantly tell his headmates as the dysfunctional trio clashed violently using words. 'Yeah! We don't need anyone! Especially not you!' After such a comment, the system felt a slight pain in their skull, a minor headache. 'Guys and girls, we shouldn't be fighting! Let's be friends instead,' Dyo chirped from her corner, ruffling their feathers and lashing their tail. The curled up form of their vessel twitched slightly at the motion of Dyo's.

'We must hunt,' Midén chirped, opening all four of his eyes and stretching upon the stone. But Enas? Enas had other ideas. 'No! We need to settle something! We need to figure out who's the top dog here! And it's definitely me!' The wyrm gazed about, and he growled lowly thanks to their sire's species. "Enas, stop. No! We can hunt after we settle this!!!" With the rapid shift of voice, the wyrm writhed quickly and fell off the stone with a shallow PLUNK! In the subconsciousness of the system, Dyo looked onto a clash between their beloved brother and sister. Recklessly, Enas' energy flew at Midén, who quietly slunk beneath it. 'G-guys...' Dyo chirped quietly at the clash. Trying to stop the fight was futile, and the headmate had a different idea.

A much better idea than writhing on the cave floor in fury.

With only a few seconds, Dyo took the wheel and looked all about, squadron of eyes unblinking as they assessed their surroundings and slithered over to the waters of Pisces lagoon. The system's wings had yet to really develop, so things were a little bit... slow going. Both the larger and smaller pairs got in the way constantly unless Dyo conciously tucked them in. As the wyrm approached the waters, a dull headache thrummed as Enas began to screech incessantly at Midén. 'Good idea, Dyo,' the leader chirped in the mindspace, and he quickly took the forefront.

Enas scuttled to the back of their mind, huffing and curling up in a heap of angst. 'You better catch us the biggest fish,' she grumbled. Midén smiled and poised himself above the waters and watched for the flash of scales. "I will."

OMFG WHOOOOOOTS Starts to work on QQ whilst crying

Child Name: Ulthor Might
Gender: Male

Its tail is actually the front half of a snake, with a face plate mate of ammolite stone. The hybrid is blind, although it has the capability of sensing heat signatures through its tail.
Element: Energy
Stone: Ammolite

Personality: This young pup despite only being able to see heat is quite bold, brazen if you will. More adept at attempting to do everything by himself rather then rely on another. Even if he really needs it, its a flaw in his character so to speak, one that will take some years of trial and error to overcome. And yet when he does get help he wont be a total starved dog about it. More then likely this is to the affect of knowing and yet not accepting that he may actually need that out stretched paw, hoof, wing, or tail for an extra boost. With him one will need to be able to stand their ground or find themselves at an impasse with this foolishly hard headed ball of feathers and fur.

Later on in life he will thank his loss of sight as it will lend him a more significant gain, unable to judge someone solely for their looks. Ulthor will be keen on listening one through till the end, only coming to a conclusion on that specific animals actions rather then what they posture themselves to be. Learning young that even the slightest quaver in ones voice, fall of their foot, raise in their temperature or the sent they give off all the tell he needs to define truth from lies. This though does not make him the rain-man among animals as his pigheadedness more oft gets him in trouble. Having him backed against a wall trying to find a way out of the rabbit hole he just so happened to stumble into.

On love, revenge , hate or most any emotion Thor is all or nothing even if that lends him being fickle in the process. And yes some would ask, "but how does this work?" well to learn that you would have to know this son of Pitohui & Cerberos. Yes he may be "I hate you to the bone, that is that" But just as soon as he has decided to carry that hate to his death he might catch a feel. Swooning his head into a more leveled state as his temper cools, he might even regret his actions. Although he won't be the first to say he is sorry or that he messed up, Ulthor will undoubtedly show his regret in his own way. Perhaps a calm demeanor around the one he has slighted, willingness to carry out their wishes where he would normally declare "Go do it you own damned self". Or even partly avoiding the animal all together so as not to have to deal with the repercussions, only standing his ground when he must, I'll-bet never abandoning his pride as he does so thus never truly bending his head to no one individual.

As far as loyalty goes, once this odd little pup as acknowledged you as someone important to him he will fight a valiant fight by your side. Thor on the other side so quite the blumbering fool when coming face to face with anything that reveals himself, total fail at expressing himself with words. This feathered fool will stand firm in his actions, as they to him speak louder then words. If he is by your side and not at anthers then what more proof do you need?

Being blind and having two heads is also a blessing in disguise to this snake tailed canine, and yet whilst still young he will have trouble controlling both. Later on in life he will be aptly able to fall asleep while still keeping part of his conscience awake, the snake head able to detect heat signatures always stays vigilant. Scanning the area for possible threats, as long as they have a pulse or give off heat or even move for that matter. His tail can transmit that in an instance to Ulthor's main conscience alerting the dog to any dangers or passerby's that are within the snakes field of 'vision'. This also lends him an almost aloof air about him, readily laying on his back in an 'I am totally at ease' type of manner. Able to just relax and take it easy he loves the playing and joking around, not easily startled with the attitude of "What the hell are you trying to do? Yes you, the one in the bushes....Yeah, your not fooling anyone with your 'Oh I'll try to be sneaky' act" Which kind of leaves him with a slightly adorable bluntness to him, an "your not fooling anyone with that act case I can smell your lair stench all over you" type deal.

All in all this Hybrid can be one royal, face palming, head shaking, "why you do this?" comedy act without him even knowing it, he will wiggle his way into your heart, claim it as his and walk off with an attitude of "Ha! Whatcha gonna do bout it now, eh" Wiggles eyebrows and runs off laugh not caring of you follow or not

Sample Wrote:Awaking to a dark world the pup struggled to understand his surroundings, he had just been within his chrysalis. Or so he would presume as that was the notion this youngling hand impressed on him by knowledge whose only source could be the crystal that had bore him. And what a quick entering into the cave it was, no sooner had he began his first thoughts the impulse to be free fulled is little body up. Pushing, kicking and slamming about he burst free from his chrysalis, flopping on the ground only to be bathed in darkness one again.

And yet this was a different darkness, where as before he was completely blind but now the world around him was.....dotted with life? hues of blinding white to lifeless black filled up his sensors. It was almost more then he could handle, his tail twitching back and forth only made it worse. As the colors became a whirl wind of information that exhausted him greatly.

Down was up, up was down, as the hybrid flailed around trying to grasp a hold of what was going on, till he stumbled over his own paws, ending up landing on his tail. Thor breathed a quiet sigh of relief as the colors once varied became a conglomerate one. Flopping over the canine lay there, letting the cool ground calm his hyped nerves. While somewhere in distant memories colors and shapes flickered to him, anothers memory? No...crystal knowledge, that's what he would call it. Impressions from the crystal, he didn't know how but that is what it felt like.

So that meant he wasn't crazy.. just different, he knew what he was supposed to be seeing; trees , grass, the cave walls but what was actuality was far from what these visions were showing him. "Ahhh wha ever" He spoke to no one in particular, shaking what might have been from his forethought focusing on the what was plaguing him now. For starters, his whacked sense of sight, this he surmised would be his tails fault, slowly lifting his body up to release it from underneath him. Cringing slightly as he so ever slowly got used to all the colors he was seeing. And the second, a huge cracking sound just to the left of him. It sounded like a crystal shattering, and when his senses alighted on the source a new bloom of colors struck him, along with the smell and sense of kinship. This was family, he crept closer to inspect his new sibling, something blooming in his chest that he would later acknowledge as a selfless love and will to protect even if it meant death.

BABY #2
NAME: Coyah
GENDER: Intersex
_____________________

☾ Coyah ☽
CAUTIOUS - SELECTIVELY MUTE - CORWARDLY - PACIFIST - LOYAL

This little bundle of joy is completely overwhelmed by anxiety - but that doesn't mean to say that they aren't content. Coyah enjoys their company best when around their friends - though they aren't talkative, it is certainly an upgrade from being around crowds or complete strangers. That is to say, Coyah is selectively mute.
This hybrid is particularly cowardly and faint hearted. Easily startled, it isn't a grand feat to cause the creature to fall into a shamble of uncontrollable, terrified screaming from all three of their mouths - to which, all seem to be perfectly functional; though every single one of them is completely blind.
Coyah's patience seemingly never wears thin; even when things seem at their worst the hybrid is usually the type to be sitting quietly to the side. As it happens, this also makes him a pretty good listener; often being able to sit down and wait for people to get whatever it is they need off their chest, even if the words get caught in their throats.
They are hesitant to hunt or even hurt another gembound - if they be greater or lesser. It doesn't matter to them - what is alive is alive and that's all they care about. The nerd is often seen trying to eat flowers and for the first few cycles of their life is often quite sick from eating them.
Although Coyah doesn't like the company of others, their favourite pastime is sitting alone with other gembounds and simply listening to whatever story the have to share.
Even if they don't have a story to share.
In that regard, they are.... surprisingly forceful.
Coyah - no matter their age - will quite literally refuse to sleep without someone they trust lulling them to sleep with a story of far off caves, or giant fire-lizards, or deathly stags coming to eat them in their sleep. A story is a story to Coyah, and all stories, short or long, are quite important to them.

When Coyah gets older they will finally grow some thicker skin - instead of a cowardly young kid and a big cry baby, they will become someone who is fiercely loyal and only cares for the safety of their friends. His anxiety will, unfortunately, never leave them - but they will learn how to control it a little better.
Even if that only means they can say a total of two words to a stranger instead of none.
In their spare time, Coyah enjoys bathing with his sibling - regardless if they like it or not.

_____________________

Slowly, they shifted. Consciousness fell upon them, but the first mouth to open was not the canine's mouth, nor the serpent's, but the beak lodged within it's throat. Merely, it yawned with the slightest of squeaks before sealing shut once more. The second mouth to move was the serpent, the tail rising and staring blindly off into Pisces. Although the hybrid had no eyes, they could tell who was around. All the gembounds produced different levels of heat; though it took getting used to, Coyah was increasingly confident that they could tell them a part.

They shifted once more. Their ears flickered and a tongue slid out from the canine's muzzle, licking their jowls carefully.

Amalgamate
Envy | Sly | Cackle
Physically Male - Gender Fluid - Multiple System - Hybrid

ENVY: Possessive, Envious, Wistful, Passionate

Envy is just one of three personalities to embody the hybrid, but she is easily the most noticeable. Unlike her headmates, Envy is a soft-spoken creature, with submissive qualities and a never-ending thirst for more. More of anything, be it attention, treasure, friends, and as they grow, perhaps even power becomes the pushing inspiration for this particular muse. She is passionate and despite being soft-spoken, will stick to her moral code stubbornly when faced with decisions. Although friendly enough at first, it quickly becomes clear that Envy might not be as nice a girl when her belongings come into question. She's greedy, hoarding that which she holds dear and quite often arguing with her own headmates over whether or not her grasp over someone or something is suffocating.

Envy fears Isolation and Abandonment.

Envy's favorite things are her collection and sweet scents.

SLY: Manipulative, Chaotic, Intuitive, Charismatic

Sly is a strong silent type, with very little to say but an ear that's always listening. Easily the most independant of the three, Sly relies only on himself. He rarely voices his thoughts out loud, but when he does, he speaks with a certain sense of dignity and charm. He is not, however, as charming or suave as he may first appear. Sly is, as his name might suggest, a devious creature- and he seeks only to entertain himself. His goals are uncertain, even to him, but they almost always end the same- someone almost always gets hurt, emotionally or otherwise. He doesn't care. He's in it for himself- and headmates be damned, he'll enjoy the life he was given, despite its faults.

Sly fears being Manipulated himself, and becoming Dependant.

Sly's favorite things include the suffering of others. (He's kind of a dick that way.)

CACKLE: Friendly, Simple, Loyal, Honest

Cackle was named after his headmates' response to his first attempts at speech. Unbeknown to the simple mind, they make fun of him, but if he notices, he doesn't seem to mind. In fact, Cackle doesn't seem to mind anything. This loyal, subservient dog takes after his sire in a lot of ways and some could say he is the host personality for the Amalgamate as a whole. When in frontal control, Cackle has the easiest time of the three, adaptable and welcoming of any change to his routine. Though simple minded and easily the dimmest of the three headmates, Cackle is, unlike the others, entirely friendly and pacifistic. He lives only to make others happy and will often forget himself in the process. He doesn't seem to realize the bad intentions of his headmates but does his best to make up for their wrong-doings. As a result, he's often picked on by them, at times even physically. Yet, the dog-like personality doesn't mind one bit. He takes everything in stride, and delights only in making friends and keeping those friends as happy as he can help it.

Cackle unknowingly fears hurting others.

Cackle's favorite things are praise and laughter.

(Future personalities may develop through gameplay, but these three will remain the core personalities and have the most involvement in gameplay. Almalgamate starts with all three.)

Almalgamate will answer to any of the three names, but the personality at the forefront will always correct others one who's who.

Sly speaks with a lower voice than the others.
Cackle has trouble pronouncing words.
Envy tends to use high pitched whines in her speech.

Living was a chaotic, confusing and overall difficult experience thus far. None thought this more astutely than Sly, who'd spent the whole morning complaining silently to the others he shared his body with. Envy, who was in control of their body for the time being, had turned her focus towards gathering up more of the remaining stone shards of their chrysalis, in order to tune out his complaints. Cackle, ever the obedient little friend, listened with rapt attention to every comment the more dominant male spat into their mind.

"Furthermore, how do they expect us to navigate with these twiggy, not-strong legs?" He was saying, flabbergasted. To Envy's disgruntled lack of surprise, their body tipped, a twiggy bird leg kicking out to make a point. She fought to right their balance again and snorted audibly. She didn't bother to silence her outer voice when she replied to his behavior.

"You're being ridiculous, as always, Sly." She spat, canine jaws parting in an annoyed snarl. "Our body is just fine. You are simply too impatient. If you bothered to learn..."

"Oh, learn what? How to stumble about like you do? You're no more graceful than big-beak Cackle." The doggish personality made no attempts at rectifying the comment made at his expense. It didn't particular matter, anyway. Sly went on, the argument still well and live in their head. "Besides, you're always hogging control anyway. How am I supposed to get any practice in when you're always tripping me up chasing rocks?"

"They're trinkets, not rocks. And they smell nice. And they feel nice." Envy retorted, planting their hips onto the stone floor with a pointed nod. Sly wasn't buying it.

"They're rocks. They smell like rocks. They feel like rocks." He snapped at her, and she shook their head to lessen the ringing from his loud thoughts.

"You'll never understand, will you? We share everything but a love for beautiful things, you and I."

"And me!" Came Cackle's smaller void, bleating from their throat as not to overburden the canine's mouth with too many words at once. His voice was childish compared to the others, and the body stiffened as the two fired up personalities considered scolding him for his outburst.

"Yes, little brother, and you." Envy soothed aloud, pushing back the idea of violence. Cackle didn't like violence, and he always whined whenever they considered it. Neither of them liked it when Cackle's voice began its deafening song in their head, and out loud. Somehow, the little brother knew just how to defuse them in an instant. The threat of that alone silenced the argument then and there.

Sly rose their head to sniff the air and Envy noted the mixed scents.

"Fish?" She asked, and her 'brothers' agreed with attention pushed to their stomach. "Cackle, no getting excited this time." She chided, dragging their body over to the water's edge and dipping their snake's head into the chilly depths. Their canine jaws poised, parted, waiting for the brush of scales on scales. They'd figured this trick out very quickly, at least, Envy had. The boys waited impatiently for their ever greedy sister to find them a meal fit for a king, as she always managed to do.
