Seeing the Earth, Finding the Stars - Thistle - Dec 29 2015 Thistle hummed a tune that had been forming in her mind. It made her happy to find the right words to the tune. Like searching through a toybox to find just the right toy to fit to make this really pretty puzzle that looked really nice when she was all finished! She sang it quietly to Baro as they walked, letting the tune set into her legs, making her walk with a nice jaunt. The snow crunched under her feet, but she didn't mind it at all. The cold didn't bother her when Baro was around, and seeing the white, lazy snowflakes float all around made her feel really nice and peaceful.
"Oh, there were two, Two that walked, Two that saw the sea - They said they wanted more, They said, That's not enough for me Oh, there were two, Two that flew, Two that saw the earth - They said they wanted more, They said, Give us something of worth Oh there were two, Two that slept, Two that found the stars, And they never saw a sight They said, Such wonder from afar," Her voice grew louder and louder as she kept singing, and she really was enjoying herself! She looked at Baro when it ended, grinning at him. They were the three rooms she and Baro had seen thus far; Pisces, this new room with its pretty snow and (yummy)foliage, and Orion with its pretty stars. They were still on the look-out for Nova but...this, just this with Baro was nice too. @Nova @Baroque @Diot RE: Seeing the Earth, Finding the Stars - Nova - Dec 29 2015

She'd turned from Baro just in time to see Nova crash out of the ferns straight towards her, bounding up and licking her cheek with absolutely uplifting happiness. Thistle laughed and accepted these kisses and managed to land a few of her own back onto her best friend, and she replied, "We've been looking for you, Nova! We got to meet this new hatching gem named Oric who was so cute, you would've loved to see him! and Nova, you should see the star room we explored! It's beautiful!"
"But yes, tell me where you've been Nova! I missed you!" She landed another kiss on Nova's cheek, then stood, her eyes wide and eager to hear where her friend had been and what adventures she'd seen. RE: Seeing the Earth, Finding the Stars - Nova - Dec 29 2015
RE: Seeing the Earth, Finding the Stars - Baroque - Dec 30 2015 BAROQUE SONGCAT Baroque really didn't want to wander this far from home. He was frankly terrified, reaching out to his dad with a quietquiet, weak whimper of a thought. Daaad, we found Nova... We're in a big leafy place... It's really snowy, like home. Be home soon, okay? His big blue eyes stared at the puppy as Thistle and her caught up on what was going on, appearing on the outside to appear completely lost in thought. Baroque didn't care that Thistle was friends with Nova. She was always showing Baro that she cared for him just as much, and Nova was alright, although Barry could tell that Nova "hated" him so he tended to shy away from her... But as Nova mentioned being able to change the temperature of the air, the grizzly lion's ears perked and he leaned closer, looking as curious as a kitten in a yarn shop. "Really? I w-wanna see.. Make it warm!" @Leon @Nova @Thistle RE: Seeing the Earth, Finding the Stars - Nova - Dec 30 2015
@Thistle @Baroque RE: Seeing the Earth, Finding the Stars - Thistle - Dec 30 2015 Thistle listened with incredibly wide eyes and a very serious look on her face. This was some incredible stuff Nova was saying? A place with really tall trees? A big blue thing? A teacher?? "You've had some amazing adventures, Nova!" She said in a praising tone of voice, half happy for Nova, half upset that all this went on without Thistle being around! Oh, she wanted to go explore and see interesting things and meet new people! And what was this that she was saying, that she could make it warm? Baro wanted to see it, and Thistle was quiet, her brows raised in question. What did she mean, make it warm? How did one make it warm? What did she mean? She saw a light come from her friend, this really pretty purple hue that came from the back of her neck where her gem was, and suddenly the snow around them melted and she felt like the chilly air was just suddenly replaced with air from Baro's nice warm den, soft and warm and comforting. The fur stood up on Thistle's legs, and she shivered from the sudden temperature change. "H-how," She stuttered. "How did you do that, Nova?" She asked in hushed, excited tones. What even was that? "Baro, do you know? What was that?" RE: Seeing the Earth, Finding the Stars - Diot - Dec 31 2015 The young tamarin roamed the trees above, though he wasn't as young as one would hope. Fast approaching 4 cycles he was an 'adult' now. Though even from the first day he had hatched he already was a old and loving soul. With a smile on his face he combed through the menu of succulent fruits that grew on the branches. Picking only those that needed to be picked, dropping a few of the less enjoyable and way over ripened ones to the floor below. Allowing whom or what ever to happily eat away. It was a win-win-win scenario! Pick the fruits and the trees happily make more! Drop some fruits to the floor below and help out some gembounds who normally couldn't feast in the tree tops! And fill up his small satchel! Win-win-win! Though from observing the tamarin long enough most would notice he only shoved select things inside his woven satchel, the creme of the crop so to speak! Not to mention some stunned bugs to bring back to his father. But most of the fruits he handed off to peculiar vines, ones that continued to hand them off until they reached the inside of his home. Safely storing away food for both him and Booker. Nature was so helpful, he would keep grooming and farming the earth and it would help him with chores! He thanked it every day, it was a tough job after all. Jumping to another branch Diot stopped, listening intently at whom ever was singing down below. Listening and adjusting the millipede that wrapped around his neck for warmth. Bugs get cold too don't ya know? He followed the voices, wandering through the treetops, safe from those below should anything go sour. Though when he obtained a glance from them he smiled. Young gembounds! An adorable gazelle whose voice was like silk! A strong willed dog, one that the wind informed him was a schnauzer. Then someone who Diot couldn't quite make out what they were, though it didn't matter much to him; Diot was a kind soul and would treat them all with open arms. But luckily he was told they were something new, a hybrid; lion and grizzly. Oh joy! Walking over the branches Diot stared down at them. Allowing the branches to bend at his will so he could get a better look. He would have remained quiet a little while longer, he wasn't one for stalking after people. He had nothing to hide, he meant no harm after all. But he watched as the schnauzer awoken the magic inside them, melting the snow that lay around the three of them. Diot hadn't seen something like yet, only remembering Vicktor and his flames. Those ate away the snow and well everything else. But this was something unseen, perhaps bending the very nature around them. Diot could only let out a exclamation of excited and pride for the young one! "That was so lovely! I am happy for you! Using magic at such a young age! Very well done! I haven't seen anything like that!" Now he only hoped they responded positively, he was still nervous. Especially after the episode with Vicktor who was, well somewhere. Hopefully these young ones would be welcoming. But even if they weren't at least he was up safe in the trees, a quick and easy get away right at his finger tips so something for awry.

@Baroque @Thistle @Doit RE: Seeing the Earth, Finding the Stars - Baroque - Jan 02 2016 BAROQUE SONGCAT Almost immediately, Nova made his fur fluff up with a warm, gentle air. The snow under his paws melted and even even the wetness felt cozy and comfortingly hot, like curling up beside his massive father. A shiver went down his spine and he smiled at Nova as Thistle beamed, trying desperately to understand. But before Baroque could try to explain what he knew of magic (which wasn't much) a stranger appeared. They were a black, furry creature, with bright orange fur around the important bits-- his face, his hands. To Barry, it reminded him of some sort of light, but he couldn't explain why the creature just came off as so immediately friendly to him, even before he started to praise Nova. "Hello," he called up to the primate with curiosity in his big, bright blue eyes. Nova didn't seem to understand that he was trying to be friendly though, taking a defensive stance in front of Thistle. The grizzly lion stumbled forward, putting a paw on the black pooch. "It's okay Nova... They seem nice. They thought your magic was really good...!" Then he looked back up at the stranger once more. "Um, Mister! What do you know about magic? O-oh, and.. I'm Baroque... And this is Thistle... and Nova." @Diot @Thistle |
