hunting buddies - Marigold - Jan 16 2016

Quietly, Marigold stepped forwards into Polaris. A forked tongue flicked out from her lips as she looked around before the wheezing hybrid took more steps into Polaris. Behind her, was another hybrid - someone who called itself Morpheus and, although she had told them her actual name - insisted on calling herself something strange and nonsensical such as "Lost," or something along those lines.

Marigold had stopped listening to them a while ago. It hurt her head trying to figure them out.

The last thing she had heard from them (or rather, bothered to hear) was that they were hungry. Now, Marigold wasn't the best hunter in all the caves, but she at least knew when and where to hunt. The thing that called itself Morpheus seemingly did not.

Not that it... bothered her or anything. Marigold preferred being alone over having company - especially when it came to hunting.

RE: hunting buddies - Marigold - Jan 16 2016

"Remain," the snake hybrid wheezed, half-hissing out her own words. "Eats."

She didn't know if Morpheus would understand what she meant or not, but quite frankly, she did not care. The only thing that she did care for was that the bat hybrid remained exactly where she had left them. The hybrid had gotten quite seriously injured the last time Marigold took them along for some hunting, and she was almost certain that it would happen again.

And even if the prey didn't turn and attack them, they would find some strange way to get injured anyway. Marigold was still unsure how they managed to get hurt last time, too, and she wasn't prepared to find out, least she has to drag them back to Eridanus.

Marigold didn't have doubts that Priest's hospitality had limits, too.

Without another word the snake hybrid began hobbling forwards deeper into Polaris, ears pricked up high on her head in the search for mice.
