I saw this in a dream once - Cybil - Feb 03 2016
RE: I saw this in a dream once - Fritz - Feb 04 2016 ooc: What an interesting little cutie, I definitely want in on this :o You can go all psychic on Fritz if you want. Fritz didn't understand the creatures he had met so far - they all seemed focused on one terrible conflict or another. To him, it seemed rather fruitless, so did gem magic, and the idea that the cave was a living entity. The static in his mind just wouldn't allow him to comprehend such things. But he made the most of what he had learnt so far. Right now, no one would take him seriously.... surely, some day they would. The little grey creature continued to scurry quickly across the large, foggy space, having had explored for a while and not seeming at all to falter. What was the point in stopping?... Resting was just wasting time.. The new fledgling did feel rather vunerable on the ground, though But surely no creature would go so far as to attack him? He trusted almost everyone, even strangers. He continued like this for a good half an hour. Overall, the youngester was pretty blissful, since overthinking was redundant. As he journied on, he admired his surroundings, despite them being very dark and rather grim, and foggy - beautiful in it's own way though. He was not at all adapted to walking, as opposed to climbing, and his tail dragged across the ground, causing it to hurt a little; a sensation which distracted him from the realisation that he couldn't see centremeters in front him, even with his almost torch-like golden eyes. He could hear clearly though, even his slight pawsteps, and therefore the loud splash in the distance should have made him jump, by pure impulse. It didn't though - it merely made him intrigued. Consequently, he picked up his pace, heading to where he assumed the sound originated, not showing any obvious signs of fatigue from his travels. Suddenly he felt his paws get wet. It was at that moment when he saw Cybil. Well, only the foggy outline of a creature, seemingly haunched over far in front of his view. He hopped a little further and soon realised the water got drastically deeper the further he went in. He took one paw out of the murk and attempted to direct his high-pitched voice towards the mysterious outline, tilting his head, "Why are ya' in the w-water? It seems f-fun. Can I join?" He wondered, maybe this creature would be different from the rest. @Cybil RE: I saw this in a dream once - Cybil - Feb 04 2016
@Fritz RE: I saw this in a dream once - Fritz - Feb 05 2016 Fritz didn't attempt to move back from his position as the sodden wolf came approached into clear view. The marmoset's golden eyes sparkled in wonder and he sat up a little on his hind legs to appear taller in order to help Cybil in her efforts. He had a cobweb strewn around his tufts from when he was rumaging around the tunnels. "They call me Fritz. An' Cybil, you're ah lot prettier when I can properly s-see you!... " Briskly, he glanced around at the surrounding, thickening fog, and fidgeted with his tail despite his wet paws. Not with nerves, rather with a whirring mind and jumpy disposition. "It's weird h-how we might not know if anyone is here watchin' us, isn't it... but why are ya' here? Are ya' on a m-mission of some sort? E-everyone i've met so far seems to have somethin' really important to do. They look like they've g-got everythin' sorted out." He didn't look her directly in the eyes after that, tending to look anywhere but in her general direction, although there wasn't much to look at that the fog didn't effectively conceal. It wasn't in intention to be rude, however. @Cybil RE: I saw this in a dream once - Cybil - Feb 07 2016
@Fritz RE: I saw this in a dream once - Fritz - Feb 08 2016 Fritz was delighted that the maned wolf seemed to 'like' him, for he was pretty fond of pleasing others, as bad as it sounded. "I'm out lookin' fa' answers, i've heard t-there is a badness in this place, and ah want to go f-find it and see if it's true... and maybe change it somehow. Ah mean the badness is pointless, in my opinion.", he responded briskly, not seeming to realise the fact that he was young, small and relatively useless. As he said this, he was brought back to the doubtless look of sorrow in Cayenne's eyes back at the time she had to explain some hard truths to him. He didn't fully accept them, however. Despite the fact that he pointed out the potential of eavesdroppers to Cybil, he himself did not really feel alarmed at all at the matter, and he felt calm as ever in the murkiness of the room. This may have been shown by him relaxing on the moss that grew around the dark water, with his tail curled. Being scared felt too unpleasant. It was part of life though, wasn't it? Cybil looked huge from where he was lying, so he felt the need to shout a little, rather tactlessly if there actually turned out to be a creature lurking about - "It's h-hard to see anything 'round here, nevermind were all of the tunnels go... don't ya' feel afraid?" @Cybil |
