Knowledge is Power - Deathstroke - Feb 13 2016
Deathstroke was neatly coiled in the safe heaven that was his 'egg.' He had yet to hatch, yet to break free. He wiggled and he shook the egg about. Trying to break out and become free at last. Eventually, he did, his forked tongue met the warm misty air. He looked around slowly, wondering where he was. He didn't bother crawling out of his safe haven yet, there was no need right now. All he needed was his head to be poked out so he could see.
"Where......am I?"
He had never seen such a place before. It was rather beautiful really. The misty air looked wonderful. He slowly slithered out of his safe haven and continued to look around. He continued to flick out his forked tongue, smelling the air of sorts as he did. He wanted to know everything he could. He wanted to learn, he wanted to see how the world functioned. He was ravening for knowledge!

Being alive was a difficult, gruesome task. It involved killing a lot of things, burning a lot of things, and wrestling even more things and trying not to die all the time. Thankfully, Czernobog kept Merrow and her brother Imp safe... Most of the time.
Today, however, would be a day where she had escaped.
Slithering through the marsh, the furry noodle came across a thing moving. It was twitching, even speaking, but that wouldn't save it. Not from Merrow's terror! With a roar that was more like a squeak than anything else, the tiny "dragon" launched herself at her new foe.
"RRRRRAWWWWRRR!!!" The tiny baby screeched. Her magic churned inside of her, desperate to spook away was more likely a predator than something she should frankly be trying to eat. It didn't stop her from snapping her alligator teeth at the snake, of course...
