The Merrymen. New Group? - Louie - May 14 2015
Last thing before bed because this has been buzzing in the back of my mind for a while xD
Louie has no interest in leading a group, however he does have interest in surrounding himself in a few select people that he can trust and possibly use to defend him/he heals them with his magic. Sort of like a symbiotic relationship although maybe Louie ends up better off lmao xD
I'm tossing up between the name just "Merrymen" or "Alchemists" or anything different to that if anyone wants to suggest something! Louie's focus is just on learning a bit more about the gems, healing others, doing weird things and understanding the magic he has and possibly others have (he's self centered so he's got more interest in himself). This group will be open to anyone and literally anyone can join at any time if they come into the area and just start to join in the daily "grind" as it were. As long as they're not there to cause trouble and wish to participate that's all he asks. One can simply come and go as they pleased. However if Louie deems you as weak and unable to contribute anything significant to the group he will attempt to chase you off (despite his fox like size).
There will be tasks that one can undertake with an emphasis placed upon magic but strength is also prized.
In order to make it a group though, besides the symbiotic relationship the focus would be placed on a community type value with people looking out for one another, helping each other achieve their goals etc. So really, there is no ulterior goal that the entire group is trying to achieve other than just living like a little village thing. (Louie will be selfish though). Although there will be no set leadership (which could be fun and cause possible drama later on if someone wished to seize "control" of the small group) Louie would consider himself some sort of spiritual witch doctor thing and the "central piece of the group". Any character who is bigger and stronger than him though will likely be the leaderly type figure as Louie doesn't really have any interest in striving for the higher ranks. (In interest of member group handling I would be doing that but there can be a leader figure head! despite the entire openness of the group).
This is just a vomit on the page as I'm so tired but tl;dr Louie wants a group of people who can make him not so helpless in violent world. No requirements to join other than don't cause trouble and participate (if your character is small and weak they will have to prove themselves within the group). No other motive other than small village family thing. They will have a home base on the ledges but are free to travel between the caves setting up small temporary camps wherever they go.
Not really sure if anyone would be interested in this but I thought I'd chuck it up xD More details at later date <3

Sounds like a raid group. Which is hella cool! Maybe Ovid can join and be influenced by the concept / other members. Itd lead him towards his future group.

@Java; YEP, Louie is kind of hell bent on gathering allies so he'd probably try and perform a task to end up on Ovid's good side in order to have him follow him? If it's only temporary till he forms his own group that's fine <3
@Banshee; THAT'D BE SUPER COOL. Raccoons make for best bandits/allies xD
but yeah it'd be like a group of bandits/traders/gypsies (I don't want to offend anyone with the comparison of gypsies so if it does offend please let me know <3). They'd just have a home base and travel around setting up camp, trading wares or stealing wares and goods and services and all that.
It'd be a neutral group (for now) and not be one to try and cause a fuss among the others c:

This sounds like Fang's scene ;3 She's tiny but I imagine her being a sly assassin/spy/scout/trader/whathaveyou. She'd absolutely love to trade information or favors with Louie if it meant she got something in return... As for joining she'd only join if she thought she could lead the group which it sounds like Louie wouldn't be interested in doing X3 I imagine she wouldn't buy into his whole "deity" thing but would allow everyone to fall into it/lead everyone else on if she thought she could gain some sort of profit by helping him. Maybe they could create some sort of symbiotic partnership? I always imagined Fang as being a leader of some loose organization or group so this would be really cool though she wouldn't be above bullying others if they didn't believe her power :B if Louie or the others in the group didn't like that I could see them chasing her off too... I htik that would be cool.
Right now she's trying to coerce a horse into being her partner/steed so perhaps that would impress Louie if he saw such a small creature with a companion like that?

Definitely!! I feel like Fang and Louie would have a really interesting relationship! In terms of partnership and professional as well as friendship and all that. She's a really dynamic character! Having a horse would most certainly impress him x3
In that case I think we'd have enough members to found it? :D

If you group meets all the requirements (found in Guidebook -> Groups) you can go to the Update Me! thread and fill out the group creation form :)
