Emergence Of An Enigma - Rinaotei - Feb 18 2016 Within the caves of the clear, cold Pisces on one of its many walls that is covered with the many rivulets that surround the North-most cave had a glowing stone indented in it ready to create a new life into the world. With it's glow the particular blue stone has a few different shades on it with on top of it is a light blue looking like a small narrow pool of water that speculars the sky when the world begins to give way to spring. In the middle is yellow like the sun appearing in between the clouds, and the bottom possessing a turquoise that shows the dreary blues of winter time thaw into the bright greens of spring time. The only sound that could be heared was the soothing trickling of the water running down the walls as it cleanses the earth of the cave around it to a clean pure slate, including the stone that glistens in the light and is almost flawless from being cleansed by the water. Though this exposure of being behind the trickling water is giving the stone a distortion, making everything of it except the colour hard to make out. However that pure silence of the soothing water is short lived as the sound of solid ice breaking apart could be heard slightly. Upon the realisation it was coming from the bright blue stone, even there beyond the distortion of water there could seen what was similar to ice fissures on the top layer of the stone with beams of light appearing as the fissures got bigger, just like the sun rays appearing in gaps from the clouds in the sky. Then like kernal turning into popcorn, the stone was detached from the wall with a loud crackling sound and proceeding to fall into the clear blue lagoon center of Pisces, with a bright blue glow making it look like a giant dewdrop. With many parts of the stone breaking apart from the fissures, and crumbling away from the main stone looking like tiny driplets being separated from the speed it was falling. Until finally the stone landed on the shoreside of the lagoon with the glowing ceased, there was now an unusual texture of black mass surrounding the stone which was taking a few deep breaths. Beneath the stone two azure coloured orbs appeared, which turned out to be eyes as the organic black mass moved its head revealing its muzzle which shows a liver coloured nose at the end of the muzzle and the stone revealed to be indented to this organic creature's forehead. The first thing the creature saw was something clear, even more clear than its stone this clear thing felt cold but relaxing at the same time. After finally getting a clearer vision, with these irritating black sparkles covering over her vision finally got out of the way to realize that she is seeing is the beautiful clear water of the bowl lagoon in Pisces. And the waters cold temperature is relieving her of all of the annoying aches & pains in her joints from being cramped like that in the stone. A part of herself wishes to stay and relax in this beautiful view & get rid of the rest of the pains in her joints, however, while it would be nice right now the cold tempurature isn't the best of ideas after emerging. She better leave now and find some space where she can relax & maintain tempurature. RE: Emergence Of An Enigma - Baroque - Feb 19 2016 BAROQUE SONGCAT It was taking some work, but Baroque had gotten the beginnings of a garden going. He had a space clear for it, -------- right by some of the best lights in Pisces, and hopefully... Well, he needed more soil, and actual plants, but that could wait. The sound of a crack drew the young grizzly lion hybrid's attention. His paws drew him towards the sound, his ears coning towards the child as it figured out where it was, what was going on. At first, he was unsure he should say anything... But he finally couldn't help himself. ((sorry it's a bit short, but I didn't want to leave ya hanging ;) @Rinaotei Welcome to Origin!)) RE: Emergence Of An Enigma - Rinaotei - Feb 20 2016 (Thanks for the reply & it's fine: D, you do have an interesting character.) The young wolf pup was about to leave, but then she heard some sounds making her ears that are still floppy perk up a slightest bit. She begun to look around for a bit until she heard something new afterwards, something that sounded gentle & yet quiet that she had to perk her ears a little more. And then she finally found the source, a Gembound a lot larger than her who was bright gold in fur, contradicting her black pearl shade in fur & small size. Ah... while she just came into this world, she already had an understanding to the meaning of the sentences he is saying to her somewhat, greeting her & bidding her welcome to this new home she has just been brought into. She inwardly wonders if this slight understanding is based from common natural instinct, or something that is unique to her mind. Also although strangely enough earlier before he showed up, she saw other life forms that appeared to be Gembounds as well from afar, she kept a watchful eye on them and hoping they don't notice nor come near her. It's hard to describe what the feeling was to make her on guard like that, one would believe 'fear' slightly while that might be it she doesn't know since although she kept a watchful eye her nerves & emotions were completely composed and under control. She for some reason was wary nonetheless towards those from afar, like a wariness that if she looked away she'd be attacked any second. Thinking over the thing that popped into her head was that made her like that was... 'suspicious' & 'distrust', once again she vaguely wonders if it's instinct or just something that's unique to her own mind. And yet in spite of how these things came to her mind earlier almost naturally, they haven't come with this Gembound that's up close and can clearly see her. Odd she wonders if it's because those from afar looked aggressive & temperamental, while this one seems to lack that towards her perhaps it's his voice it's gentle & quiet making his words of welcome rather sincere and not an attempt of deceit. Although she is this 'distrusting', & thinking through her search of self-aware from her previous thoughts, such as finding her own space for herself alone would make her... After another look through her head the words that popped into her head were, 'aloof' & 'introverted'. Yet... In spite of these 'words' that describe her, she'd hate to turn down his words of welcome & crush him like that, he hasn't done anything to her to invoke such a thing. Slowly after finally stop being spacey and now looking up at the sky where his tail is raised towards, with comes the fascination of the sky’s appearance just as elegant and relaxing like this water, visually and after finishing her small sightseeing she decides to respond to his greetings and welcome. "Hello to you too.", She finally begun with a quiet voice that possessed a rather soothing serenity to it. When she said her greetings back, she simultaneously was ducking her head to what comes to her mind known as a 'bow', and then with a little more thinking she continued her speaking. "Pisces... it has a lot of beauty within it. My thank you for your welcome." She believes she got the 'words' she wanted to say to him, although she is still a little new to fully utilize this skill. Still she attempted it in being the nicest & polite way possible, she hopes she got it correct & didn't end up accidently crushing him, he was decent & sincere in her eyes. (I'm sorry if mine is a little long ^^;, I like to go in detail & I am trying to flesh out her character to what she would be like as a pup XD, as her nature is sort of what she’ll be like when older since she’s more developed then. Thanks again though : D) RE: Emergence Of An Enigma - Leon - Feb 26 2016 (I wanna apologize for a short post too, mobile posts are a pain in the butt!) Leon, too, had been consumed with his own chores. He was making the rounds about the cave, checking on everybody that made their home here, ensuring they were safe and happy. It was basically his responsibility to make sure everyone was alright - as leader, he strived to ensure there was harmony among the Maji Walezi. Though there didn't often seem to be dischord among his groupmates, one never knew what could pop up, especially with the younger Gembounds. And then there remained the issue of Clover, or Belladonna, whomever she happened to be, putting him on edge. And Bartos with his broken leg. Sonata and Cadence were always out getting into trouble, but at least Baroque seemed happy to mind his own business and stay within Pisces. Despite the general feel of peace in Pisces, there were still affairs that required his attention. He was just heading back towards the Songcat den when he had spotted his son, and nearby, another Gembound. Baroque had a habit of hanging out with freshly hatched Gembounds it seemed. Maybe he had a knack for finding them. The bear lifted his head and sniffed, looking over the fresh canine, noting her black and white colouring. She reminded him of Arkrael. The grizzly strode up behind Baroque, reaching out with the mental bond to alert his son of his approach, before coming to a halt next to the little hybrid. "Hey kiddo," He greeted warmly. "Who's your new friend?" Leon lifted his gaze to the canine, smiling. @Baroque RE: Emergence Of An Enigma - Rinaotei - Feb 29 2016 Now a newcomer seems to have appeared, appearing rather imposing compared to the other. Yet in spite he smiles rather warmly at her, this 'distrust' she possesses makes her rather wary of this newcomer as he could be deceiving her. And yet there's something about his smile directed at her, that slightly lifts her spirits a bit that causes her to relax. He spoke up to the one that greeted her with his own form of greeting with the word 'kiddo', this mysterious thing that isn't instinct that pops into her head with the answers to things right away happens again. Like some teacher inside her head answering her curiousity to the meaning to certain masses in the world or certain phrases, this time it allows her to understand the meaning to this new word 'kiddo' a rather friendly term towards someone perhaps young, or perhaps something specific like a parent to a child. He continues asking who his new 'friend' is, 'friend' is a familar term that she alreay knows, a friend is one she would possess a good bond with. And she realizes he's referring to her, which finally makes her ask the very question that lots of creatures ask. Who is she? She began to speak, and before she knew it a word just randomly slipped out. "Ri-Rinaotei..." she doesn't know the details how that just came but it did. In her attempt to perhaps look less awkward if she perhaps did, she lifted her paw and begun to shake it to what is known as a 'wave'. (Sorry if long post again XD like said still fleshing character out as a pup to how she'll develop and I'm basically making her have 'intelligence' and she is basically too young to realize it is intelligence and thinks it's some mysterious thing in her head. Thanks though : D @Leon @Baroque ) RE: Emergence Of An Enigma - Baroque - Mar 13 2016 BAROQUE SONGCAT Baroque waited calmly and politely for the little wolf's response, expecting it to take a moment. Some gembounds ------- couldn't even speak when they were that little-- it took him a few days to really get the hang of it. Not that he really knew how old she was, but she didn't seem like she was fully grown, so he erred on the side of baby rather than child. His tail twitched behind him and he smiled toothily as she echoed him-- hello to you too. The young boy perked up, turning his head to face his big grizzly bear dad. By the day, he was sure he was catching up to his father's size, and this single thought made him beam. He didn't feel quite so daunted by his father's size, and with bright blue eyes he blinked back at the newcomer. He still didn't know her name, so he simply smiled and nodded, letting her introduce herself. She seemed like a nice gembound, anyway. Thistle would love her. @Rinaotei @Leon , my apologies for the delay omg,, also long posts are good! <3 RE: Emergence Of An Enigma - Rinaotei - Mar 18 2016 Seeing his toothy smile in response to her words seems like she used good words of choice for her response to him. A bit damp huh? Well she supposes lots of things have possession of drawbacks as well... Ah oh well... After her slip of words the younger one of the duo before her responds in a more excited tone on how it's nice to meet her, well looks like that's her name. She admits it does have a nice ring to it and she thinks it'll be awkward to say it isn't her name and then think of a random one, well others can choose whatever their names are so there's nothing wrong with it. Continuing to listen to the younger one he introduces who he refers to as father with his own name, well looks like she was correct from that. She finally decides to respond now that she is out of her confusion of how that slip happened. "Ah, it's a pleasure to the both of you." she responds in a quiet tone she would've mentioned their names but she realized she doesn't know the name of the younger one yet. Still she worries that asking for his name may be a bit rude she'll perhaps wait, although she isn't too fond of waiting. Speaking of him it appears he has offered her some fish whenever she feels hungry, well she thinks she'll get the hang of getting some for herself eventually but as of right now she doesn't know her capabilites yet so better not get too carried away. And as she thought before those 2 seem decent enough and don't appear to be deceiving her with negative intentions that could harm her, may as well take up on the offer. "Well... If it isn't too much trouble I suppose I'll take on your offer." Seems like her 'words' she's doing good so far. (Well thanks for the reply nonetheless : D @Baroque @Leon) RE: Emergence Of An Enigma - Baroque - Mar 23 2016 BAROQUE SONGCAT Baroque was more eager than even he had expected. His huge, lumbering paws, launched him into a ------------ haughty gait, more than ready to start the pseudo-esoteric fishing session with Rina. He was at the water's edge before he knew it, digging his heels into the hard stone, claws scrapping against the edge. His momentum nearly shoved him in regardless, but he managed to reel himself back with a swishing lion's tail, ringed with obsidian. With a nervous chuckle, he flashed a toothy grin back towards the canine, raising a paw to gesture her closer. Maybe Leon was the best fisher in all of the caves, but he also knew his dad was busy. So, once his new friend was close enough-- if it wasn't out of line to call her a friend already-- he began the lesson. Just a few cycles ago, the thought of being near the dangerous water would have made him cry. Hardly anything made him cry these days, but that was mostly because he had wonderful friends and a safe place here with Maji Walezi. It was hard to be upset in so-called Paradise, anyway. Nodding his head to Rinaotei, he backed up a few paces until his shadow was directly under him and not casting on the surface of the lagoon. Eyes sparkling, he turned his attention to the water. Abruptly, he lashed a paw into the water, hooking his lion's claws into the scales of the fish. His other forepaw slipped as he tossed the fish on to the slippery shore, nearly falling in with the effort. He was quick to claw his way upright and get a grip on his caught fish, but it was a sloppy catch. He kept a smile on regardless, but it was clear there was a reason he wasn't the best fisher in Pisces. @Rinaotei RE: Emergence Of An Enigma - Rinaotei - Mar 25 2016 Rina sees that her acceptance has gotten him rather excited. After watching with slightly widened eyes and slightly extending out one of her small paws that was still clinging to the small bank... er shore thing, when it seemed like her new companion was about to fall in... Oh wait looks like he managed to regain control of balance. After that brief moment that first Rina doesn't notice he's gesturing her to come closer, as she looking at her own paw that she extended out slightly confused as to why she extended it. She knows the first thought was to help him if he slipped still... Her paw and general body mass is too lithe that even if her paw gripped him, it wouldn't do much due to his larger size so it was quite odd to why she did that. "Huh..." She quietly mumbled to herself, afterwards she finally deciding to stop being spacey about this and sees he's gesturing for her to come here. Deciding to follow along she carefully puts more power into her front paws that were still clamped onto the hard rock to pull herself out of the water, with a leap she managed to get her upper torso out and onto the land. But her lower torso was being a slight nuisance to get out of the water, she quietly breathes out a low hum in small annoyance, well that's a bit inconvenient... Trying again she draws her paws and front legs all the way out and with her paws pressed firmly on the land, she pushes them with all the power transferred to them in doing so she manages to get her back legs out a bit. Continuting on with a puff she starts to drag her whole body rubbing off the ground until she got her whole entire lower torso out, while doing this it looked almost like she was slithering across the ground. Rina herself noticed that expressing a look of confusion at herself "Well... What am I a wolf or a snake?" she quietly snarked at herself over her methods. Venturing over to her new friend she slowly sat down, worried his excitement may cause another potential slip she slowly turns to him "Now, now perhaps calm yourself? Don't want to end up slipping." she asks nicely but with some slight uncertainty she thinks it's OK to request that... right? Didn't mean any harm in it just perhaps some consideration to him. Well this place seems safe enough and has some positivity, so if he wants to remains with the same eagerness she doesn't see too much harm in it. Maybe she just doesn't want someone to be at their expense too much due to her. Now paying attention to the new fishing lesson given to her... patience huh? Oh goodness... upon coming to this world she has realized standing around waiting isn't her thing "Well... patience is something I have to work on, then again I do like to look at the water so who knows." while he was explaining she sees he looks quite proud of himself, seeing this the corners of her mouth tip upwards to show a smile. Afterwards she turned to see where he is pointing to see something glowing quite brightly, and upon looking at it she seems to... see another light shining coming from her forehead. Upon closer inspection as her eyes cross a bit, ah it's coming from her gem although she doesn't understand why her gem is shining a small beam of light when looking at this that is glowing. Anyway continuing to listen to what he explains to watch out for these as they'll cause her shadow to be casted upon, seeing his shadow move perfectly in sync with his movements she understands that as well. Not to add for her seems like if she's near those lights her gem for some reason will shine a small beam of light itself which could also make her get detected, "Ah yes I understand now." She responded quietly. Seeing him nod she nods back and follows suit of backing away a bit to ensure her shadow also doesn't be cast, even if her body is small it could still be problematic. Listening to what is step three, she feels now she should completely quiet down to ensure she doesn't cause something to go wrong looking at him with solemn eyes and slowly nods. Observing she sees that he never takes his eyes off the water and keeps his concentration up til the very end, another thing she'll have to note down even though this one just goes without saying really. Continuing on though she sees as he manages to rein in a catch, she smiles a little more. Ah! She sees him slip a little bit a thought she was worried about earlier but she sees that he once again managed to regain his balance with a successful catch. Seeing no harm... except perhaps the catch of course, she smiles back and closes her eyes and curves her closed eyelids upwards to show a slightly more happy expression. @Baroque |
