FEELS GOOD - Othello - Jul 12 2016 The maned wolf's days had been spent mostly lazing around Monoceros, waiting for anything exciting to happen. When he got bored, and honestly it didn't take too long, he started to explore, only going so far away from the Merry Men each time, gradually getting farther and farther away. He had gone farther than he ever had before today, landing him in Polaris. As he entered the massive room, the gembound looked all around, taking it all in. Easily the most well lit room, it was almost too bright to the gembound. He squinted his eyes as he looked up at the ceiling, noticing what looked like stars. He wondered what they really were, however. There was a lot going on in Polaris, compared to what he was used to anyway. A river cut the room in two, pretty much, but other things stood out, like the massively tall structure. Striding towards it, Othello's gaze followed the Spire's build to the top. It was an odd thing, that was for sure, and wondered if Louie knew anything about it. His head tilted in wonder, but his gaze moved to the other interesting things in the room. He'd have to remember to inquire about the Spire later when he actually found Louie. That was part of the reason he was exploring so much as of late - looking for Odyssey and Iliad mostly, but Louie too. He missed the fox and fox hybrids company and longed for it again. He felt alone in Monoceros without them and like he really had no purpose there. He never questioned leaving, however. Othello strode over to the river then, dipping his nose down towards the water to get a drink. Being such a large room, he wondered if others were around. He'd never met anyone out side of the Merry Men really, so he was a bit curious as to who else lived in this cave. @kin-kin RE: FEELS GOOD - Kin-Kin - Jul 12 2016 Just like usual, she shifted her cape and flicked her ears, wondering what would make the best first impression. It was as she raised her head from the mirror lapping at her paws that she realized she wasn't alone here. Drinking at the water's edge some distance away was another canid- a very tall and lanky-looking one at that. Dark-furred and peaceful looking, Kin-Kin hadn't noticed them previously. Their appearance intrigued her- surely no wolf could be that tall! The golden creature slowly and curiously approached with the same lithe movement that she'd been watching in the clear waters all the way here. Not too far away from the other, close enough that they were sure to notice her, Kin-Kin stopped herself. She lapped up some of those clear waters and said nothing for a while as she drank. After a while however, she raised her head and turned towards them, settling back on her haunches at the water's edge and using a paw to 'bashfully' toy with a corner of the cape which fell in cascades around her. "Can't say I've seen you around here before, fella!" she chirped curiously. "You're new here, right?" The she-wolf paused for a moment, wondering if she ought to make the situation a little more... appealing. She held her breath for a moment, feeling a chill run through her fur... ...And her fur burst into life, blazing gold as it no longer just reflected light, but made its own. tagged: @Othello ooc: boop! muse: 8/10 "Talking looks like this!" Thinking looks like this... RE: FEELS GOOD - Othello - Jul 13 2016
He was perfectly fine being alone, and it was when he started to realize he'd actually prefer fo be alone that someone else was in Polaris. It was a wolf, but not just a regular wolf. A wolf with a cape! How awesome was that?! Othello wanted a cape! His jaw nearly dropped, but instead he just clenched his teeth together as he watched the pale wolf approach. Although he didnt care much about aethestics, he didn't necessarily like or dislike his appearance. Colored in greys and blacks with his ruby red eyes, he did akways love Odyssey and Iliad's coats for the red they had. Othello was void of color, but that was pretty cool all in itself. But the wolfs pale gold color was interesting. He'd never seen such a color having sheltered himself in Monoceros for so long. The wolf spoke to him and at this point, he almost mentally laughed at everyone when they spoke to him. They didn't know, however, so he offen just kept his lips pursed. It wasn't too long after that she began to glow faintly, cacthing Othello's attention easily. He wanted to do that, too! Pressing his brows together, he was jealous of this magick that made her glow. Not to mention the cape! @kin-kin RE: FEELS GOOD - Kin-Kin - Jul 25 2016 Although the golden she-wolf waited for a while, her body swaying gently in her eagerness, no sound responded her, although Kin-Kin examined them closely for any sign that they were impressed. They didn't seem particularly moved by her presence, so she sniffed and raised her head, looking up at them from a dropped head as though bowing deep in respect. Though the mischief in her eyes said otherwise. "hard one to get, huh?" she chuckled, ears cocked. Soon, she raised herself once more. Her head was held high and her plumed tail swished. The body language of this one was... Intriguing. They didn't betray much, and they still didn't speak. The golden one looked closely at them. What if they simply couldn't speak? Trying not to let anything on, she crept closer with her damp black nose twitching. She tilted her head to one side, examining them closely. A smirk twitched her lips, however, as they finally let a sliver of emotion slip into their features and, of course, it was in response to her light. She chuckled once more. "Too entranced to speak, huh? Well, there's always more where that comes from!" she let out a bell-like laugh, almost taunting. But she was growing ever more curious, her taunts aiming to bring out some kind of response. @Othello -sooo sorry for the wait! I've had so much crap going on irl, hopefully I'll be able to get back to normal soonish ;; |
