Nyx had taken a strong liking to Orion. She loved watching the twinkling, glimmering ceiling and falling asleep to the sight, as much as waking up to it. The fawn wished to preserve this part of the cave and the beauty within it for others to see - as long as she could - and decided that it was perfect for what she'd planned anyway. The doe had told her friends to meet her in Orion, but not why. She hoped all of them would come and that they'd agree to her plan. Nyx hated being alone and hoped all of her friends would like each other as much as she liked them so none of them would ever have to be alone again. "Listen to me." RE: irenic - Azazel (Original) - May 22 2015 Some as big as your head! Yet again, Azazel had been wandering the darkness of the cave, but now it had been set alight. Beauty shimmered off the room of stars. It was even more fantastic whilst illuminated by the orbs of lights, shimmering white lights all about the room. Each stone was scrutinized with a keen carmine orb, blinking as some would recoil sharply at being gazed upon. Some of the quartz crystals would blind the ave, and he'd shake his head. Rufous head turned to survey the shimmering room. There was blue stone and white crystals, the usual. But there was a little creature in the midst of stones and crystals. Tilting a head, he wondered why 'Fortune' was here. But this critter didn't seem to be like Fortune. There were spots upon her back. He assumed it was trick of the lights above on the ceiling. Ethusiastic either way, The Bone King waved a wing as if this creature would see him. Finally, he hopped up onto a rock to use it as a booster. Appendages spread wide and the bird took on a steep dive down the cliffsides. Giving a shrill cry, the bird announced his presence. The ave flapped his wings harder to slow his descent and land upon the crystalline and shimmering floor, carmine eyes glistening. His head tilted as he gazed at the bovidae. RE: irenic - Tamelyn - May 22 2015 and dance together til morning!
Tamelyn had been walking with her head held high ever since the lights had been restored. Sure, others had been responsible for bringing down the dam, but she had been first to investigate the machine, she had figured out the connection between the turbine and the river, and she had come up with the idea to use magic on the golem dam. It was true that that plan had resulted in an influx of new, magic-hungry golems, but hey. Win some, lose some. Needless to say, Tamelyn now considered herself just a little bit of a hero. While she felt more-inclined to frequent the forested caverns, with their plentiful browsing and strange familiarity, she also had a special fondness for Orion. The sparkly gems overhead were now set off by the gentle glow of lamps hanging in the buildings and streets, creating a wonderfully placid atmosphere. If Tamelyn had had any concept of times of day, she would have compared it to a perpetual dusk, with both the yellow glow of lamps and the white sparkle of "stars" to keep the darkness at bay. At the moment, however, she was here to do more than sight-see. Nyx had tracked her down, asking her to come to Orion in a few days for something. Tamelyn wasn't sure what, but she was happy to help Nyx however she could. A raucous clattering of hooves on stone announced the arrival of the "Thunderhoof", as Tamelyn now often called herself. She spied her friend and galloped over, bleating to grab her attention. "Hiya Nyx! Hiya...um...Not-Phoenix." She couldn't remember if she had ever gotten the funny-looking bird's name before, though she recognized him from their quest at the dam. Tam looked back at the other fawn, tailing flicking. "So wha' are we here for?" "Listen to me." |
