Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Albeon - Jul 27 2016 The young hatchling Albeon has now finally left that horrid graveyard like place which was also his own birthplace, he is now able to fly a bit better and so he went through the just as disturbing Tunnel that was in between this part of the caves & that bone land. His flight moves along to be what is a fairly straight forward journey, with the fabric he is still wearing alongside in tow around his neck although it is sloppily wrapped around the hatchling eventually though he finds himself in this new part of the caves. His leg is just about alright now, yes it's still a little sore but at least he can still move it and all & he is now certain that beast 'Mosi' truly has decided to quit on him for now. Climbing up in flight up to one of the walls in this part of the cave to use as a perch, that way Albeon will have a better standpoint view of this region. Looking around with this all seeing eye view it certainly has a nice style, it doesn't have bones everywhere in sight & yet for some reason there was something about it that still gave him a bad vibe for unknown reasons. Looking up he sees something that is sparkling & shining on the ceiling, he admires the appearance of them, and yet they look familiar... But where in the world could he have seen something like that in that bland & lifeless part where he was born at, which was the only other place he was in? He squints his eyes in wonder, trying to perhaps remember one minor detail as to where he has seen something like this before... They're like the odd twinkling things that damned beast had on his tail when he showed it off to Albeon... Yes, that's it! Then these might be stars possibly! His eyes now wide open as he looks on to this view in this revelation "Then... Must be Orion or something..." His lower beak dropped a little, when he now realised this is where that damned beast Mosi spoke of as it were his own pride & joy. Albeon finds himself taking in a long inhale & tightening his wings like he was clenching fists. His heart is racing of pure excitement & strong amusement of how quickly he ended up in Orion, where Mosi supposedly created the 'stars' he seems to love so much. More specifically the amusement of imagining the look on that bastards face when he finds some of his stars smashed. The amusement of being able to have a slightest bit revenge on that beast so quickly. With all his energy now just sky rocketing out through the roof he just couldn't contain himself any longer, his strong anger at Mosi over how he tried to kill Albeon, a new-born chick and was going to make him suffer in agony while doing it, all because the beast seemed to possess a false sense of entitlement to his life since he seemed to believe he was supposedly superior. With all these thoughts and the memories, he already tried to supress coming back, he takes off in the air again at what could be considered breakneck speed for a chick as he was now going straight for the 'stars' in Orion in hopes of vandalising them by smashing a bunch of them to pieces. He first just goes after some fairly small ones that he only needs to ram into with his scythe thing, making those small ones chip apart already looking dim from being damaged, some other small ones falling off entirely to meet the ground where they will smash into tiny shards. Albeon feels strong satisfactory & rage at the same time when doing this "How about that you damned beast!? Who's laughing now huh Mosi?! I'm still being a better creature as I'm destroying something that isn't even alive while you seemed to think you had the right to take a life away!" Albeon said in pure satisfaction on what he could do, yet still in utter rage even though only the tone of his voice is in pure anger, he's saying it in a whisper where no other creature on the ground that doesn't have good hearing could consider the things he's saying to be audible, since he was just talking to himself. His ranting stopped when he saw this large 'star' on the ceiling, he sees that his talons & scythe thing will not be enough to take this one down... He still grins over an idea that's in his head as he does have other means on shifting an object, he thinks he has that whole 'unexpected movement slip' thing all under control & sorted out now since he's certain now that it was him that did that. To see if his theory is correct he focuses on this 'star' with a desire to remove it off the ceiling and also focuses on the scythe things at the same time. Time to see if the theory is right... He sees that the 'star' is shifting in its location, but it hasn't come off yet looks like this one will be struggle even with his amplified energy. Concentrating a little more in attempt to complete what he started, now that he is certain his theory is correct. The 'star' is constantly moving side to side like it was a wobbling tooth, making small pebbles that are also on the ceiling crumble away and fall off from the force, the 'star' finally loosens from the grasp on the ceiling and Albeon gets to witness this particular large one plummet down to the ground where it smashes to pieces. Feeling fairly satisfied on how he has got some form of revenge, and yet his stamina is already down from attempting that spell on the large one and so he decides to take a break for now slowing gliding back down to a wall to perch for some slight rest. Lying on his stomach on the floor with his wings sprawled out to try and relax for a bit with his fabric still keeping him warm, unknown to the factor that there's mostly likely another living creature very nearby this young hatchling. @Baratheon RE: Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Baratheon - Jul 27 2016 Eridanus had become like a constant home to him but it'd been a while since he'd traveled away from it in search of something new... or rather, old. This time he came to Orion to marvel at the stars and ponder the stories he'd told in times past about the First Dragon and the first Riders. He remembered when he'd had a Rider but now that part of his headspace was empty. In a way he missed it but being reborn from the chrysali had helped his transition and set him back to being a singular beast. There was still a part of him that longed for that bond again but he knew he would probably never have another Rider... That part of his life was over. He was now a protector of all within Eridanus rather than just his singular Bonded. Still, those stories were a way for him to connect with the past and remember how his kind had come to be from the silver-furred Mother of Dragons. With head in clouds and ears similarly raised he heard something with the overlarge appendages. From his standpoint below the cliff he could just hear the sound of yelling. Was someone in distress? Curious, he raised his wings and easily flew up towards the cliff. Rose-hued eyes scanned the cliffside to see nothing at first... but then he made out the tiny raven resting on the cliff. Was he the one causing all that commotion? How amusing. With one pump of his wings he coasted to the cliffside and landed in front of the hatchling. His gaze swept over the shattered gemstones and then turned onto the bird as if to ask: Was that you? words: 285

RE: Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Albeon - Jul 28 2016 The Cliffside floor may be of course stone cold, and yet due to Albeon's little work out there & his fabric still wrapped around him acting like a blanket he is fairly warm as of right now so he feels pretty relaxed right now. Not to add he's feeling pretty damn sanguine & proud, as he in a way slightly managed to get a bit of revenge although something like this won't be enough unless Mosi is a perfectionist on these things and even a slight damage like this will immensely anger him. While he wants to get back up to continue on this he is panting pretty heavily as flying at that speed & altitude has took quite a bit of a toll on him. Just take a small break then try and get back to what he is doing till he's satisfied, although in actuality even though he has planned himself a goal to help other small helpless creatures his vengefulness is taking over his head and at this rate he'll probably be here until he's certain he has destroyed every 'star' in this vicinity. In amidst of the rest he was having, Albeon continues to be unaware of how there is another living creature nearby, that is until he sees that a large shadow is slowly creeping up towards him which eventually loomed over him and enveloped a radius of the floor. His head snapped up a little and pushed himself up a bit with his two tiny tired out wings, his head turning from side to side to try and find where that shadow was coming from. He looks forward to find a newcomer in his line of vision, something that is clad in white fluffy looking fur & possessing wings just like him is staring down at him. One thing especially to notice is that this one newcomer is ginormous, a lot bigger than Mosi who already towered over him with this one Albeon might as well be a speck of dust to it. Although he doesn't show it he is pretty intimidated by this one, he hops back up to attempt to back away in spite that backing away he might end up falling off the cliff of this wall, fortunately & unfortunately though his talon steps on the fabric he is wearing underneath him and ends up tripping back down to the ground slumped and has found himself a bit... tangled in his long fabric... Damn this world... Why must it mock me? He brings his head back up from that fall since his head movements aren't restrained from his fabric, to see this newcomer still looking at him with a expectant gaze that it refuses to remove its gaze away from him like he was silently questioning Albeon, then he notices the destroyed 'stars' that are around him that he saw the large one quickly glance at. Now that he looks at them he sees that they look a little like the stone things that are on his head that he just calls 'scythe things' and he thinks he has seen other creatures have them in different shapes & form, one thing in common though is that they're stones. Oh no... Does this new one not realise these never belonged to another creature and thinks that he just killed another creature? No... No he would never! He's not like that Mosi! Or... Maybe some of the fallen stars almost hit the newcomer who was just minding its own business and is pretty ticked about this? Even though Albeon has some slight... bitterness when his anger is irked, still he is still a young hatchling who still has a lot of innocence & curiosity, so much right now he really isn't being distrusting with this newcomer... Just being a young naive child who's really shy but a little curious too. Worrying he may be in trouble he decides to speak to this newcomer, really though one would think he would've learned to be wary of some other creatures after what happened with Mosi especially since he was at first egging Albeon on into trusting him. But he is still young so it may still be easy to trick this chick, only his natural smarts that come with being a corvid saves him, not to add pride somewhat is telling him to speak the truth right now for he is no liar, and the pride that he is no way, no how a killer who murders for ridiculous reasons like Mosi is. With that although the tiredness in his voice can be easily noticed he speaks up with him still panting in between words from the fatigue "These stones around us are from the 'stars' on the ceiling, sorry if some hit you..." He probably would give some slight attitude, but he really doesn't want to enrage this one, his attitude set Mosi off to wanting to kill him savagely so it was better to not screw that one up again. While his statement was honest in a way, it was vague as he didn't know how to explain about his action to someone who may not be interested in his issues. @Baratheon RE: Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Baratheon - Jul 29 2016 Baratheon continued to stare down at the tiny one, near-sanguine gaze continuing to bore into the tiny creature below him. He could tell that it was keeping up a strong facade but there was no doubt that he had to be absolutely terrified. Imagine some huge dragon coming in from nowhere to stand in front of you. Sure, he wasn't trying to be intimidating and was actually quite relaxed but that didn't matter. It was just his sheer size when compared to most of the other residents of the caverns. Especially... hmm... was this a hatchling? The dragon's head began to lower then, head turning so that he could inspect the avian with one eye. It was much easier having his head only a few feet from the ground like this, made it way easier to see the tiny creature. And, yes, this was definitely a hatchling. Poor thing... All alone out here. The words that hit his ears had him smiling while he used one large claw to shift a couple of the "stars" around. It was certainly impressive that the tiny bird had caused so much damage to the ceiling, he found that admirable. Finally, after a moment of deliberation, he spoke. "Fear not, I only heard the sound, little one." His voice was rough and slow at first from disuse but then it warmed up and came more naturally. "You have a talent, not many your size could cause so much damage. It is... impressive." His words were genuine and after speaking he lifted his head back to the normal height while he turned his muzzle straight to look at the bird head on. "What is your name, hatchling?" words: 282

RE: Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Albeon - Jul 29 2016 He quickly untangles himself from his fabric thing, something to preoccupy his mind and the factor he probably looks so helpless... He might as well be with this one really. Although without it around him now and is now on the ground it's already starting to feel a bit cold. He sees the newcomer now making movements as his head lowers to close some more distance between the two, Albeon closes his eyes tight in worry for what may happen when the large one reaches him. He leaves them closed for a few more seconds but he doesn't feel anything happening... Confused he opens one of his right eye to be half lidded to see what's happening to see yes it is definitely very close to him now still staring at him with the eye it has that is also bigger than the avian's body, but really that's all it's doing. To get a better look to see if just looking at him closer with its eye is all it's doing Albeon opens his half-lidded right eye back up fully with his left eye following suit to confirm that yup that's all the large one is doing, feeling somewhat confused to what is going on he tilts his head to the left. When Albeon spoke of the circumstances he sees that the large one has begun to smile, it was different from what Mosi gave in a way before the one Mosi had till it started to twist into a sadistic one, the one Mosi gave while it was enough to get Albeon to trust him looking back the smile didn't really give the feeling this one's smile is giving to him it was... Warm even if Albeon feels physically cold right now, that smile still has a warm feeling to it. Which makes him relax a little bit just slightly though, looking over once to see the large one move one of the 'stars' with those... Whoa those talons are huge as well. His head snaps back to look at this large one when he finally starts to speak, wait he heard the noise? Albeon was certain he was whispering to himself, unless he meant the 'stars' for when they smashed. Still the way he referred to him as 'little one' has a rather intimate touch to it... Well not really it probably just sounds a lot nicer than the way Mosi said it even if the words were similar. Continuing to listen to the large one, he's impressed with his capabilities? Feeling a little less like the shy child he really is he decides to respond still feeling fairly tired, "Something was bothering me which seemed to cause a bout of energy that allowed me to do this. Aftermath now I just... feel cold & tired." He answered honestly shivering from the cold, still if this was talented then perhaps he could be able to help some other helpless ones then... He watches as the large one now put the physical distance between the two again, with him raising his head straight back up again and sees that the name question has happened again, at least he has one this time. "It's Albeon." he thinks that's how it goes? Probably would use more words but he thinks that's all he needs to do with the name thing. @Baratheon RE: Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Baratheon - Jul 29 2016 The little hatchling tangled up in fabric cut a rather pathetic appearance. Not in a bad way... just... he seemed so helpless and yet he'd managed to destroy a whole gemstone by himself. Big things came in small packages, he supposed. The little bird went on to tell him about why he'd done what he did and to say he was cold and tired. Magick use. That would do it, even he would succumb to fatigue if he used magic too much and too often for his body to recharge itself. "Magick. One must be careful not too demand too much of the body or it will drain you." As for the "cold". The dragon slowly lowered himself to the ground so as not to accidentally hurt the child and then he carefully curled himself in a half-circle with his tail and forepaws almost touching as he lay half on his belly and half on his side. He wasn't touching the bird but he was loosely lying around him, not so much as to crowd but close enough so that his own body heat and bulk would block off the drafts of the cave so that he could lend his warmness. If the bird wanted to come closer then he would allow but he would not bridge the gap himself, he didn't want to scare the creature away with too much kindness. Once situated he spoke again, "Albeon. I am Baratheon, the lone Dragon of Eridanus." A newly made up title but one that was certainly not false. He was indeed the only dragon of Eridanus and it was a fact that he was damn proud of. words: 277
tagged: @Albeon ooc: --- muse: 6/10 "Talking looks like this!" Thinking looks like this... RE: Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Albeon - Jul 30 2016 The large one from what Albeon notices appear to be looking in thought of his explanation for what just occurred here, well he was wondering himself so perhaps he could be given some light instead of just be given lots of theories that he thinks of really. Albeon is still shuddering from the cold while the young chick is waiting for what he has to say, the answer coming to him now from him. Magick? Is that what that whole 'theory' with the whole 'movement, slipping thing' when he concentrates on his stone scythe is about? The other thing he mentioned to Albeon is how not to not drain their body to fatigue, he probably should take this into consideration yet he's a bit too reckless to bother still if this large one can also feel drained from demanding too much of their body in spite of limits then he should place some limits after all. Well... He honestly admitted to the large one he feels drained and cold, he supposes that's a good start perhaps. Looking up at the large one Albeon watches on, as he sees the large one who was for a while was unmoving is now closing in the distance between them again more so than before. The sudden shift in movement startled him a bit, which shows on how his wings instantly spread out all tensed up, but make no move to make him start to fly. Observing on to see if this sudden movement may be of any indication to he must take flight right now he keeps a keen eye as to what the large one is doing. Looking around to see while yes, he is lying around him, but not really trapping him or too close for discomfort. Now that he relaxes his wings, he then sees that his shuddering has stopped and he no longer feels cold now feeling pretty warm even in this cold cave wait... Was this in response to his claim of feeling cold? That was rather... sweet this one does seem decent, but he was unsure and his experience with Mosi made him wonder if all the ones who will tower over him are execrable creatures... Then again this was his second encounter with someone who just happens to also tower over him so who knows, some his size may be execrable as well and not all the ones who tower over him are, he just got unlucky the first time... He does have to admit to himself, though even though his ginormous stature in comparison to him was a thing the chick definitely took note of, it was basically the factor about him he mostly paid attention about. But the other thing he also took note of being that fur just looks different to his feathers, heck even Mosi's. While a part of him is rather hesitant to close the gap between them himself, he couldn't help but be curious of that fur. Picking up his long fabric with his beak he slowly & delicately attempts to shuffle closer to his fur that's on his left front leg when Albeon thinks the large one isn't looking, when he'll reach it Albeon will just reach out with one of his small wings to slightly trace over the end of the tendrils. He is curious but he didn't want to get too invasive and outright invading his personal space besides he wants to think he hasn't been noticed doing this even though it's most likely he definitely has been noticed he just likes to think he's sneaky. He slightly traces over the fur in wonder on wondering why it's so soft & warm whilst his feathers not so much. When he hears the large one speak to him, he immediately stops that and hops back a little keeping his wings to himself. He listens intently as the he was introduced to Baratheon, well at least he can stop thinking of him as 'large one' now. The other part Baratheon mentioned was how he was a 'dragon' in this Eridanus. Albeon lowers his head in thought on that, does he mean like a 'star'? No, it sounds like a thing like how he was referred to as a 'chick' once. He was wondering, but he'll speak up to see if he's correct. "Dragon, huh? Does that mean what are you are in a way? I was called 'little chick' by... Someone, is it similar? Then again this 'someone' was just utterly taunting me so I'm not sure to trust what he said. It's nice to meet you though Baratheon." He appears to be coming out of his shell a little more now, that was a lot of words that wasn't for himself. @Baratheon RE: Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Baratheon - Jul 31 2016 He could tell that his movements were startling to the younger and smaller creature when he seemed to tense up. The chick's wings were poised for takeoff while he watched the dragon carefully but he would see that the dragon only attacked when a threat was nearby or if pushed to it. He had to admit though that fighting was a fun pasttime, like when he'd gone against that elephant, but he knew when it was time to fight and when it was time to be peaceful. Like now. While in his thoughts he didn't notice the bird approaching him at first, not until he felt that tugging on his foreleg. He glanced down to see the bird sneakily pulling at the fur there and, amused, he decided to keep a secret that he even noticed the action. Instead he turned his head and pretended to groom the scales on his belly, picking at the smooth armor with his long eye teeth. It wasn't until he was ready to reply that he turned to look back at the tiny bird thoughtfully. "Yes. In every way, actually. I am a dragon, it's what I will always be. If you see anyone that looks like me, they are a dragon as well." Though he was certain the chick would have a hard to running into another one. He only knew two true dragons, his son and that beast which had attacked the caves. He only hoped that the bird would never see that large black behemoth. "This fellow that was taunting you was correct, in one regard. You are a chick, a raven chick, it looks like. We are similar in some regards, we both have gems, we both have wings, we both have eyes. Many creatures are similar in the caves but one species is always different from another in other ways." The dragon smiled down at the bird then. "It is nice to meet you as well, young one. You must not let others get to you, they only wish to hurt you and you must rise above it... or fight it, if need be." He'd had to fight many times in his life and didn't find it an abhorrent thing. No, he figured it honorable if you were doing it for a good purpose. Although, he didn't suppose a tiny chick knew much about fighting but that didn't matter. All could learn, he'd seen tiny creatures defeat giants before. RE: Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Albeon - Jul 31 2016 Albeon is getting a little more relaxed around Baratheon right now, with the whole thing about getting startled he wasn't quite sure if it's just being a child who's just shy or if it truly was wariness even though he at first thought it wasn't, perhaps it's both actually. But he is starting to see a bit now that he's probably not going to go for an attack, definitely not do what Mosi did and was just generally being peaceful, the size just may be off-putting still as he thinks he is just a little worried about accidentally being squished when he moves perhaps. Even so, he's glad that he thinks he was never noticed the whole thing with the fur, with how Baratheon mind is too buried in dealing with smoothing out something that's on his abdomen which on further inspection is very different from the fur looks kinda regal in a way actually. He does feel a little proud of how he managed in what he thought to be sneaking on tugging at the fur, he is a little curious about the different one on his abs but he really doesn't want to get too bold, not to add it doesn't seem to be fluffy like his fur. Speaking now that he's satisfied in thinking he successfully managed to satiate his curiosity of the fur without as he believed was detected, he just decides to move a little closer to the fur this time not really minding if Baratheon sees him doing it this time he was right next to it now anyway, Albeon now appears to be snuggling against the fur which is really warm. So much that from his fatigue, he is trying his best to stop his eyes from drooping. Albeon's attention is still fully on what Baratheon is telling him, while he certainly is angry at how cruel this world is. Really angry... he really should at least have some understanding on how it works in some forms of way, so he takes in almost everything he says. So... There are more than one of each creature then & what they are in 'species' is shown from how they look huh? Although he is unsure how many there are but he does get the impression that a one like Baratheon in other words a 'dragon' is a rare kind. The thought though that Mosi was actually correct about something does provoke some rather mild irritation in the chick, since he views that because was that beast did was pretty wrong is his eyes he felt it was pretty standardized for Mosi to not be right about anything. This irritation was put into the back of his mind for a bit though, it'll probably come back after he ponders the other things Baratheon has explained to him, such as the factor that he's a 'raven' which he does have to say does have a nice touch to it, sounds kinda cool in a way that and the mention how they have 'gems' which he realizes meant the scythe things he possesses, he allows the things that have been told to him to sink in. ...He does wonder if he should mention about how that 'someone' did more than taunt him and almost escaped the clutches of death due from that 'someone', nonetheless he still nods to Baratheon when he was done with what he said. Although yeah, he really should avert being childish like Mosi for letting all of this get to him, then again Mosi wants Albeon's blood for taunting him and defending himself from him whilst Albeon wants payback for trying to kill him, still yeah, he really should be fighting for those helpless ones instead of wasting his energy on an utter idiot he may just get revenge if he sees him again and sees him attempting to harm another creature again. During all of this with his thoughts deep in the memories of what happened previously which caused him to recall about what happened to his leg, which in turn the subtle pain on his leg begun to act up due to that now that his attention is on the pain again, there's no blood of course but it's still really starting to hurt. The pain caused him to grimace a bit in the agony Damnit... Why? And made him lean a little more onto the fur while he just can't help but slightly squawk out a whimper of pain "Ow..." Looks like it's best to try and rest that leg again for now perhaps. @Baratheon RE: Tame Your Bitterness Healthily - Baratheon - Aug 01 2016 The dragon watched silently as the bird grew a little bolder in inspecting him. Of course, he made sure to pretend like he was distracted by other things, grooming a burr out of his fur here or using his nose-horn to pick at a scale. Never directly looking at the bird until the little fellow seemed to settle in at the fur by his foreleg. It seemed that the bird was absorbing everything that he said and, what's more, it seemed that hew as relaxing. Good. He didn't wish to intimidate anyone and he thought that today was a rather peaceful day to be out and about. Even if the tiny one had been assaulted by something. Hmm... He wondered what manner of creature had bothered the tiny bird and if it was only words that had been exchanged or more? The dragon gave a thoughtful rumble as he lowered his head to the ground and snaked his long neck around so that he could lay with his head on the earth but with one eye on Albeon. He was laying in an almost complete circle now with his tail and head nearly overlapping. After he'd shifted himself into the more comfortable position he heard the bird complaining of something. The pink pupil-less eye focused on Albeon as he rumbled out, "What is wrong?" It seemed that the bird was taking weight off of one of his legs but he could see and smell no blood... Had he broken it? He hoped not... The dragon was no healer but he would do his best if that was what was needed. words: 270
